Full Moon to Balsamic Moon, April 5, to April 19, 2023
In this blog’s March 21 to April 5, 2023, New to Full Moon issue, the information came through to decompress the Second Chakra. If that work resonated, and you have been doing that, I hope the results include more joy and sovereignty.
I have been doing that work, decompressing and opening the Second Chakra; dissolution and expansion are the results. As everything around us changes in this shift to 5D and the New Earth, we must let go of what was. We must let go of old understandings that no longer fit.
In this letting go, I have the direct experience of a vast, expansive opening that remains empty yet animate with potential. As I work with Kuiper Belt Objects, a vast expansion opens within and around me. This energetic expansion is more extensive than anything I have experienced before.
Once you identify your tight spots, you can use gentle, loving care – embracing rather than resisting shadow parts – to help address unmet needs.
This expansion extends to the self. A new exercise has come to my awareness, thanks to a dear friend who did a healing session with me. This exercise includes a relaxation of the spinal vertebra. Relaxing each vertebra, from C1 through C7, the cervical spine, to T1 through T12, the thoracic spine, to L1 through L5, the lumbar spine, to S1 and S2, the sacral spine, unfolds the skeletal structure and helps release tightness, and contracted holding.
While there is a lot of excitement with Pluto in Aquarius, we also have Saturn in Pisces from March 7, 2023, to May 24, 2025, and from September 1, 2025, to February 13, 2026. Saturn rules the skeletal structure – our bones, teeth, and spine, and Pisces governs the nebulous mists of mysticism. Relaxing your hard-working vertebrae during Saturn in Pisces can enhance the release and open the mystery.
This post includes a link to a simple guided imagery recording of releasing each vertebra individually. Although the exercise is simple and gentle, please consult a physician if you have back issues or concerns before using it.
If you listen to the guided imagery, one suggestion is to note which vertebra release calls your attention as you go down the spine. Is there more release with one vertebra than another? Note the location and then consider looking those vertebrae up on Louise Hay’s list of energetic associations of the spinal vertebra. A list in the back of this classic book details the energetics of each vertebra. Access to your inner knowing and resources like Louise Hay can help you release more congested, compacted tension. Information on where you are holding tightly, maybe unaware of that clenching, shines a light on your needs.
Once you identify your tight spots, you can use gentle, loving care – embracing rather than resisting shadow parts – to help address unmet needs. With practice, we can generate self-compassion for all aspects of ourselves, including the dark/light, happy/sad, and wounded/healed. Think Divine Mother energy encircling you, a choir of angels, ancestors who love and support you, consider letting it all in as you surround yourself in compassion and release judgment, condemnation, and alienation.
The last half of each lunar month, these next two weeks, is prime for releasing, letting go, and clearing the slate for the new beginning at the next New Moon.
Please reply in the comments section or by email with your experiences and questions. Enjoy the guided imagery.
