Refining Ourselves within the Dissolution this Lunar Week

Moon Phase

This last week of the lunar cycle is wind-down time. We are also ending a season and beginning the new one. It is a time of transition, a cosmic shift.

This week we weed out options. Discernment is a vital asset because filtering options help us choose next steps on the unfolding path to fulfillment. Trust your heart, intuition, and soul to work on your best behalf. The energy this week supports letting go.

Sensing practicalities, the refined path is revealed, even in the increasing outer darkness. Our hearts pull us, magnetically, to the necessary releases that link where we are with where we want to be. We can let go, and we know it.

The image that comes to mind is a sculptor crafting elegant, graceful beauty with her chisel.

 5D Here, Now

The 5D Portal of Access that is animated this week is Letting Go. Scarcity mind, fear, attachment, false sense of comfort and security get in the way of true freedom. As we let go, we can feel the earth beneath our feet as a Mother of supreme support. This sense of safety comes from staying current, allowing the unconscious to become conscious, and trusting that what we release has served its time. We can open to and access the terrestrial/celestial inner compass that guides our navigation through the unknown.

We can let go, and we know it.

How-to

A daily practice helps so much this week. Consider an activity that grounds your inner/outer experience into an enlightening experience. This daily practice is up to you; again, discerning  empowers you.

Obvious choices include daily meditation, journaling, a daily walk in nature, or gentle, consciousness-raising body movement like yoga, tai chi, or qigong.

The daily practice can be a soak in the tub enhanced by candlelight and incense. Any technique that brings you home to you and allows for the vertical axis of self and other and the horizontal axis of outer and inner to align, calm, and stabilize your core.

If you find it hard to step into such a practice, conscious breathing to calm and slow down helps you enter the sacred space. As my dear friend continually reminds me, it is all about self-regulation. There are a ton of resources on self-regulating your nervous system.

If you do not already have a daily practice that helps you let go and come home to you, consider doing a google/Facebook/YouTube search on self-regulation. Specifically, self-regulation involves shifting your polyvagal system, your 10th cranial nerve, out of stuck points in the fight/flight/freeze response. Resources to explain further the polyvagal theory may also offer techniques to help with this shift. Once you locate the resources that resonate with you, consider trying the suggested strategies. Do share your experiences in the comments!

Void of Course Moon Times this Week

A ten-hour Void Moon occurs Saturday, late day and night for those living in the United States and Canada, and during the evening and night hours for those living in Europe.

A four-and-a-half-hour Void Moon occurs Tuesday, impacting daytime hours for those in the United States and Canada and evening hours for those in Europe.

A 21-hour Void Moon occurs on the day of the Equinox, September 22, affecting some part of the business hours for everyone on the planet. This extended Void Moon provides an opportunity for deep rest and to acclimate energetically to the change in season that surrounds you.

Notice your energy levels during these Void Moon times. If you feel the pull-down and in, consider allowing your body to slow down or come to a complete stop.

Notice if you must revisit work undertaken during a Void Moon. The high value for me in planning and scheduling around Void Moon times is that effort, resources of time, money, and energy are not wasted. Watch and see what happens for you. The sensate body is our vehicle for knowing. Honoring when the body wants to rest gets us farther than we can get by forging ahead.

The Void Moon times, listed in the United States and Canada Eastern Time Zone, and a time converter link for wherever you live, are below.

Void Moons: No form to contain the energy which feels free-floating and hard to focus. Heeding what your body wants during Void Moons — more internal focus, less external focus, and more stillness, quiet, and rest — are great ways to embody the Moon.

The Void Moon Times this week include:

Saturday, September 17, 5:52 PM to Sunday, September 18, 3:59 AM EDT

Tuesday, September 20, 11:57 AM to 4:38 PM EDT

Thursday, September 22, 7:07 AM to Friday, September 23, 3:54 AM EDT

Fall Equinox in Northern Hemisphere, Spring Equinox in Southern Hemisphere, 9:04 PM EDT
