Mullein is an herb for the lungs, and the lungs, in Chinese Medicine theory, represent grief. As an expectorant, Mullein helps us cough up what restricts free breathing. The images of Mullein at the end of this post are lovely, suggesting a gentle flower. Dziewanna is not that.
The cosmic energies are intense as we start this new Luna cycle and on June 21, the new season. We are up for the challenges; we are in this together, with one another, and with each of these sacred planets gracing us with lessons in becoming.

A NEW MOON with Sun and Moon at 27 Gemini occurs at 4:36 AM, Universal Time. Then, at 4:08 PM UT, the Sun at 28 Gemini opposes the Galactic Center at 28 Gemini.
After the sacred union of the conjunct, the Sun and Moon slowly progress into Gemini’s next degree, where the Moon joins with the Galactic Center and the Sun opposes the Galactic Center. This is a day to stretch oneself wide, like in a yogic pose, with head and neck arched back, arms wide open, torso firmly rooted, and Earth energy vibrating through the feet and legs. Ask to see, feel, and be the expansion of whom you are becoming in the pristine presence of Now.
Nessus stations retrograde at 5:18 AM, UT, at 19 Pisces. A Centaur and ferryman, Nessus lustfully coveted a woman he ferried across the river. This woman was connected to Hercules, and for his transgression, Hercules poisoned Nessus, killing him. The woman absorbed some of the poison on her clothes, which was then transferred to Hercules, killing him. One lesson here could be to watch that the reach of our desires does not infect the people around us.
Nessus intersects Uranus and Neptune’s orbits. As such, its energies open us to breakthroughs in higher consciousness. Nessus’s astronomical number is associated with the numerology of 1 (Sovereignty), and its Perihelion is 26 Gemini, so close to the degree of this New Moon and Sun opposite GC. Given the retrograde turn at the late degrees of Pisces, these configurations may invite reflection on integrity, self-responsibility, boundaries, and how we can purify our part in Unity Consciousness.
