The sight of the Moon two nights ago, a breath away from being Full, pierced my heart. I do not remember seeing the Moonlight so resolutely alive.
It has been said that colours are more vibrant now as we collectively shift to the 5th Dimension consciousness. That might be the reason the Moon was so white light. The vividness could also be seasonal, as the Moon shines differently throughout the year.
Whatever the reason, the Moon is in her fullness today, October 20, at 10:58 AM EDT. Those in the United States and Canadian time zones must wait until tonight to see her total luminescence.
We will likely feel the fullness without seeing her. Full Moon days come with increased responsibility and an increase in the numbers of people milling about our circles. The Full Moon, like a musical crescendo, ups the volume and intensity.
After two weeks of buildup, we reach the peak. At this fulcrum point, we can experience completeness within ourselves –satisfaction; or feel disjointed and out of sorts.
If the jarring side comes up for you, please consider centering exercises, like meditation or yoga, or time in nature. If the contentment side comes up for you, consider consciously affirming the experience of fullness in connection with nature.
The Moon and her Light are about the reflection of inner knowing, of keeping pace with oneself within every fluid moment of life.
This lunar week lasts from 10:58 AM, Wednesday, October 20 until 4:05 PM Thursday, October 28, EDT, when we enter this cycle’s fourth and final week.
During this third week, the halfway point in the cycle, the dial turns from building to releasing. It is now time to bring the work close in and reassess for the next steps.
Void Moon times this week are:
Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 10:58 AM until 4:00 PM EDT
Friday, October 22, 2021, 4:36 PM until Saturday, October 23, 3:58 AM EDT
Monday, October 25, 2021, 10:12 AM until 5:01 PM EDT
Thursday, October 28, 2021, 2:02 AM until 5:08 AM EDT
You might also feel void during Void Moon times; it can be hard to focus or produce. Lowering expectations and prioritizing essential projects for when the Moon is not void saves on frustration and resources.
