Lunar Fortunes This Week Are Found in Filtering First, Then Expanding

Moon Phase

This second week of the lunar cycle matures what has been seeded. It is a productive week, with a paradoxical challenge to align releasing with expanding.

Tensions underlie the need to filter, and from that bare-bones refinement, to expand. We clear to the bone and then express what remains. This releasing and expansion happens as we uncover second chances based on clearing and discerning and then express from unscripted creativity.

Ground yourself as you filter through outdated energy confounding your mission. Grounding equals practical wisdom and implies being slow, steady, and deliberate.

If grief wells up unexpectedly, consider welcoming the emotions as gifts to help clear the debris of what is no longer needed. Grief – feelings of sadness, loss, heartache, woundedness—clear the air around our heart wisdom. A painful process, yes. Quite necessary, though, if we are to reboot ourselves in the crisp fall air in the Northern Hemisphere or the budding air of spring in the Southern Hemisphere.

This week, the cosmic invitation is to touch our truth and clear the path to speak and live it. Identify what we love and clear the way for a more authentic expression in this time of change.

 5D Here, Now

The 5D Pillar of Access this week is Letting Go. It is impossible to progress if we do not clear, release, and let go of what no longer serves us. When we release what weighs us down, we are lighter and freer to access real-time opportunities.

 How-To

Breath. In the Northern Hemisphere, the air is brisk and crisp and portends dusking light. In the Southern Hemisphere, the air emerges with dawning light. Filling ourselves with the air cleans, purifies, and realigns us with the Now. Our bodies want a deeper breath to allow for more internal space to be.

Shifts in seasonal air alert us to change. When letting go comes easily, we trust in the process of the cyclical nature of life. We trust in the beauty, the gifts of change, and the absolute impermanence of life.

When letting go is hard, we hold on with all our might to emotions, feelings, people, and things that keep us stuck. Find your way by letting go. Since change and letting go are natural laws, life goes easier when we flow with that process of release, in contrast to holding on, grasping, and resisting letting go.

Ways that you can anchor during the turbulence of release include self-calming, self-nurturance, positive regard, and humour.

Here is an exercise to consider: Get comfortable. Feel behind the mask of your face. Relax and feel your true face. Consider placing your right hand in the center of your body, at the level of your heart. Place your left hand below your navel.

Breathe in and out until you feel calm. This process of calming is likely to take just a few minutes. Feel the security, safety, the home of your heart as you sink into relaxation. Rest in that space.

Consider an inner smile. Congratulate yourself for self-calming, self-nurturing, and partnering with the flow of perpetual change.

Night goes into day and day goes back into the night. Fall and Spring rotate on an alternating axis. Our Moon rolls through the sky from no light to full light and back to no light. As you are life and love, too, you change in perpetual, rhythmic patterns. The present moment is alive for you. All is well.
