If Asking, What Now…

Dear Readers,

A backdrop to current world circumstances is the shift from the 3rd Dimension to the 5th Dimension. In brief, historical perspective, the BBC site, The Evolution of Man,  defines previous quantum leap evolutions from Cave Men to The First Europeans, to the Ice People, to Humans. Throughout these evolutions, there have been corresponding shifts in consciousness.  Under the section, The First Europeans, One Million Years ago, we find  But this early human was undoubtedly developing a complex mind. Once this boundary had been reached, there was no turning back.

It is the same today; up close and personal, we can barely see that our consciousness is evolving by quantum leaps in the timeline of human history. In our case, the frequency of Being is increasing in Light, meaning there is less density. More clarity, less rigidity; more expansion, less contraction are two other ways of framing this shift. Our quantum leap in consciousness, like all the leaps before, does not seem easy.

Our consciousness shift is from duality-based consciousness, right/wrong, good/bad, to an inclusive consciousness of wholeness and integration. Is it any wonder our world looks like it does today, on the surface, as we are amid this shift?

If we are to make this shift in consciousness, one thing that needs release is duality consciousness. A duality-based world view is not sustainable in the 5th Dimension. Duality cannot survive the Light there.

In response to the recent collective shock, many of us are looking within to understand. One place to look for understanding and for reframing a response is to look at embedded duality consciousness. The programmed, conditioned response of duality filtering has been with us for ages.

And now, in human evolution, we are being spiraled out of duality consciousness and into the higher frequency vibrations of 5D where duality thinking cannot survive.

clematis-1528764_1280

If you are aware of this shift and want to work it, tools for transcending duality include meditation, creativity, laughter, the adrenaline rush of exercise,  being in nature, engaging with animals, being in community, and my favorite, Natural Time.

Natural Time alignment unlocks  ties that keep us bond in conditioned experience. Flowing with natural time, we sense best times to meditate, to create, best times to rest and be still, best times to wait, best times to act. To remind, natural time is feeling Time as a flowing inner experience, rather than the experience of Time as a static, controlling, external force outside of us.

Living cyclically, as directed by inner experience, we can know the zero point — in the day, the month and the year — when one cycle ends and the next begins. This zero point transcends duality and is a place of infinite potential. It is a reset button, to assess, reevaluate, choose again. This zero point is a direct connect with Oneness. Words do not do justice to this awakening experience.

It is personal choice, always, to opt for the higher frequencies, more Light, Living Love, or to stay in the dross of duality, with its comparisons, competitions, judgments, fears, sense of victim hood, and impotent anger.

There has not ever been a time like now in our human history.  It is up to each of us to choose our resonance. Take care, be kind, claim community and consider exploring the cyclic flow of naturally occurring low energy down times and their gift of deep, true, informing connection with Self.

Sacred Timing

play-994676_1280-dark-moon

When our Moon empties out at the end of a cycle, there is no light in the night sky. Correspondingly, during dark Moon times, our own light turns inward, in sync with a gravitational pull to slow down and be still.  This inward pull to stillness, to being with our deep selves, occurs twice each month. Once with the Collective Lunar Cycle, and once with the Personal Lunar cycle.

Both cycles, the personal and the collective, have the same rhythmic pattern; it is the start days that vary. The Collective Lunar Cycle starts with the New Moon, and the Personal Lunar Cycle starts with the phase of the Moon in which you are born. The Dark Moon, this inward pull to quiet receptivity, occurs three days before the New Moon in both the personal and collective cycles.

A Dark Moon in the collective cycle is occurring as I post this blog article.  The New Moon occurs Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1:39 PM Eastern Daylight Time. This means that the Collective Dark Moon starts Thursday, October 27, 2016, in the afternoon in US Eastern time zone.  The inward pull toward quiet refection begins on Thursday and continues through the weekend, until the New Moon.  Within a day after the New Moon, we start to feel the upward energy surge again.

Not everyone feels this timing. It can start with a nudge, a pull toward stillness, reflection, rest, quiet. If you sense any of this, please open the invitation. The more we align with natural, cyclic timing, the more the experience becomes familiar to us. Like all new skill sets, when we pay attention, we open receptor pathways of the original blueprints that our bodies are timers.

The Personal Lunar Cycle is the other cycle with this rhythmic pattern of slowing down, release and renewal. I just had my Personal Dark Moon; It started late Friday, October 21, 2016, continued through Saturday, all day Sunday and ended with my Personal New Moon, Monday morning, October 24, 2016 in the 8 o’clock hour.

I anticipate the personal dark Moon phase as a sacred holiday. This is a time when I honour the whole of my life in synchronized flow with our living Universe. For us, on Earth, flow means the Moon is involved.

I have been aligning with this sacred timing since 1993.  For 95% of this time, I have planned and scheduled around this pivotal timing. I have minimized commitments, laid low, and observed sensate release and regeneration typical of cyclic endings and beginnings.

Seven years ago, I took a nursing job on a per diem basis, even though I worked fulltime. I choose to forego benefits like paid time off so that  I could control my schedule and not have to work on low energy Personal Dark Moon days.  There is predictive value in knowing this rhythm, and I used it for self-care and well-being, and to optimize the potent receptivity (intuition, inner knowing, coming to center) inherent during Dark Moon times.

This past Personal Lunar Cycle, though, I was under deadline for a high-pressured, freelance writing assignment and I had to work through the low energy time. Eliminating distractions, cancelling social plans and staying focused on the writing task, I did muster the stamina to complete the task. It took all that I had, energetically and emotionally.

The carrot at the end of the stick was that I knew the Moon was void of course all day on Monday, enhancing my ability to rest post project. My schedule was clear and I gave myself a do-nothing day. It was calm, sweet, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and restorative.

On Tuesday, I was aware of still needing a little slower down time and I eased into the day with that awareness, of being kind with myself.

I have been through enough of these Personal Lunar Cycle turnings to know that if I do not stop and be still during this precious, sacred time, a depression, an irritability, an out of sorts experience shows up.  It is the beast in nature; if we do not feed the beast what it needs, in this case rest and quiet, it roars in ugliness.

I did not get the stillness that I needed during my Personal Dark Moon, however, I knew enough to not continue forward before taking deep rest. I was a little off schedule, however, I still gave myself the self-care and stillness that I needed.

Our bodies need these rest and reset times daily, twice within the Lunar Cycle, one Personal, one Collective, and yearly, right before our birthday, with our Solar Return.

tiger-1673874_1280-resting

I want to shout from the rooftop, I want to play the trumpet and bang the cymbals, I want to sing an operatic High C to let people know about these natural cycle turnings, these pivot times of stop and restart. Coming to zero point with nature’s timing is an exquisite, sacred experience.

Much of what I read these days is that answers to our challenges are found through self-love. Listening to, and heeding, the needs of our precious human bodies, is to me, ultimate expression of self-love. In Sacred Heart living, listening for what the body needs is high priority.

For those new to this sacred timing, I am in the process of developing online training for recognizing and honouring these sacred cycle alignments. I anticipate these products to be ready on or before Spring, 2017.

Those who have taken my personal lunar cycle classes know this timing and I welcome your sharing on the value of this timing in your life. Please add your comments in the comments section below!

Living Yes

Relaxing into co-creation is part of the transformative shift that we are in now, as we transition from life in 3D to life in 5D. One of the most significant changes with this shift is that we respond to personal triggers with measured choice rather than reactive impulsivity.

This change is possible because we can now, consciously, come from a place of trust within ourselves, our Souls, and in living connection with a loving Universe. Please feel these words at the heart level; feel exactly what it means to trust in yourself and your Soul and your living connection with a loving Universe. Feel what it means to be part of, to belong, rather than feeling alienated and alone.

Life in 3D was based on comparing and competition; we could not ever be good enough. In 5D we are more than enough, we ARE part of and we belong.

Here is an example of how this shift showed up for me: Sunday’s extended Void of Course Moon impacted me to the extent that I had to go home and rest, rather than stay out and shop for groceries, even though I was close to the shops I frequent.

On Monday, rested and ready, I went back out into the world, for grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and our wonderful Kroger’s. There was also a trip to Michaels on the day’s itinerary. I had an extended block of time to enjoy these errands and did not feel rushed.

For optimal efficiency, my first stop was Michaels and then a nearby Kroger’s.  On my way, I passed by my favorite coffee shop, Coffee Emporium in Hyde Park, Cincinnati, Ohio.  I am not a café person; unless meeting a friend, I do not take time to stop, sit and enjoy a cup of tea.  This day, however, stopping for a relaxing cup of tea was the number one option before me, almost an imperative. The self-talk was that if I want a more relaxed life, I have to take more relaxing opportunities.

Parking was difficult; I did not have change for meters and the non-paying spots were taken.  It took two trips around the area and then I found a space and pulled in. I was determined to take this action step toward a more relaxed life and the start button said “Now.” The obstacle of difficult parking could not deflect me.

On the short walk to the café, I encountered this:

img_1464-wooly-moth

My heart leaps with nature’s surprise gifts, like this this beautiful, furry creature crossing my path. I got tea and found a cozy place to sit outdoors. Once settled, I reflected on the meaning of the appearance of this beautiful, wooly brown caterpillar. I understood the message to be about abundance and beauty, its colour was magnificent and it radiated life with its determined crawl. I also knew that this sighting spoke to change and transformation.

In this cozy outdoor setting, sipping hot tea and with the ambiance of relaxation all around me, I thanked this creature for its visit, and started researching on my phone the metaphysical meaning of brown wooly caterpillar. I let the meanings sink in, accepting the ones that had relevance. Soaking in the significance of this caterpillar’s visit, I relaxed more deeply, breathing in the chill fall air, savouring the nature that surrounded me and absorbing the quiet slowness of this outdoor café.

img_1466-outdoor-cafe-2-with-sunlight

I learned through the research that brown wooly caterpillars can take up to 14 years to transform. Reflecting on this rather long timeline, a shaft of light broke through my consciousness, an opening awareness that I am on track with my own transformation, too. Slow, steady, consistent, always saying yes when the invitation comes to transform more wholly into my new life: relaxed, co-creative, expressively creative, grounded in trust, belonging, embodied empowerment, money materializing, and soulfully connected with others, with Nature, with Life.

Relaxation is key to our new lives as conscious co-creators. Our nervous systems have to be in neutral, not stuck in fight/flight or freeze responses, not in reactionary mode. We have to be with the expanded, interactive vibrancy that is all around us. When this relaxed synchronization happens, we can sense, see, feel, listen, receive and say Yes to incoming communication from the Living, Loving Field. We can open to the wholeness of our new Lives in this New Time by doing things differently, by changing habits, by opening to more fulfilling ways to fuse with Life.

How about you? What special guests are showing up in surprise visits for you? What is your call to action to make wanted changes in your life?

If you would like a companion guide to help you open to the experience of living life rooted in trust rather than reaction, contact me. I have years of experience with deep listening, intuitive sensing and gentle reflection and I am a big fan of the many opportunities available now for easing into this quantum shift.

The Deep Octave of No Thought

This past week I drove 16 hours, alone and in one day, with monster clouds at the dark end of the drive. The next day, I had my Dark Moon in the Personal Lunar Cycle. The Dark Moon in both Personal and Collective Lunar Cycles is like no gas in the tank. We empty out; this is the ebb before the flow at the start of the next cycle.

On these days last week, I was tired to the point of speechlessness; an eviscerating stripping of all that was nonessential. In the midst of that tiredness was the absence of thought. I was too tired to think!

In these writings I often mention that with the shift to 5D we operate from sensate experience rather than through the thought plane of 3D. While I have practiced this new way quite a lot, I have not ever experienced the complete and surrounding absence of thought as I did last week.

This experience brought me to a deeper octave of “no thought.” Trying to articulate the experience is challenging, because the experience is beyond words. There was a calmness, a penetrating stillness and safety with it that I noticed, loved and appreciated.

Despite being in the midst of a transcontinental move, and the packing and saying goodbyes and hellos associated with this move, and baseline life with work and laundry, cooking and cleaning, there was nothing to think about; energy was applied to being; to breathing and feeling physicality in a simplified, atmospherically reverberating way. (Animate in a Living, Loving, Responsive Field.)

I want more of this deep octave of no thought. It was warm and comforting with a pervasive sense of presence in All is Well.

In this New Field of the 5th Dimension and beyond, we are informed in each moment. Thinking short-circuits present moment awareness. Thought takes away possibilities, received through sensate knowing and intuition. Yes, this is a whole new way of being.

This past week I had a deep and direct experience of freedom from thought. One metaphoric description might be “Heaven on Earth.” In my direct experience, it is a whole new dimension of presence and it is awesome.

Have you considered practicing absence of thought? It is one  way of opening to living in the present moment. A great, international teacher on this topic is Eckhart Tolle. He has books, a website and many YouTube videos with which to start your practice, if you are interested.

I welcome questions and comments about your experience releasing thought as a main access to life. I am available as a teacher and companion guide if you would like assist on this courageous journey.

The Nature of Multidimensional Living

Multidimensional living calls for supreme self-care. We have to adjust to this new way of being because the tools and techniques we used no longer work. We are in the land of not knowing and we get by through paying attention to sensate experiences within the present moment – what are we feeling, what is our body telling us, what do our senses perceive?

For many, this new way of sensate living means that drive and ambition no longer rule the day. Things that mattered do not seem to matter now. Pushing ourselves seems to hurt more than ever before. What does seem to matter is if what we are choosing has core meaning for us and if we are getting pleasure and fulfillment from our choices.

Through conversations and reading about this shift, many people report extended times of doing nothing; of just needing to rest. One reason for the increasing need for rest is that our bodies are adjusting, too, to this new way of being. Our physicality needs to accommodate to the new capacities inherent in multidimensional living. Specifically, Light is filling our bodies, saturating the places of density that are dissolving in this fluid, new light. These densities include responses like stubbornness or needing to be right or obstinacy or fear or so many other habituated patterns that have clogged our systems.

We also need rest in order to release adaptive beliefs and conditioning that no longer function in this new time. Some of these old ways include being reactionary or defensive. Those approaches no longer work; when they pop up, we can see that they cost false effort and get in the way of being present to current potential.

The Eastern martial arts of moving aside, deflecting, even retreating, come to mind. It is no longer worth the fight. A motivator now is to stay present with the moment. Everything is fleeting, as each new moment comes in with new information, new potential and new opportunities.  Keeping up with this constant new flow while letting go of outdated responses, seems to matter now. We make choice, let go of forcing outcome and notice what takes form in this new life. We notice what has energy for us and what does not.

To choose living this new way takes courage and stamina, and this is the value of supreme self-care. Each individual gets to choose what self-care looks like. There is no one size fits all. There are some guidelines, though. Paying attention to what the body wants, what the emotions are broadcasting, what the Soul wants.  And that all takes listening. The kind of listening that has open space for hearing.

To say that these are challenging times is an understatement of an exponential degree. We have not been here before, there is no guidebook, other than the one we carry within our body and Soul. Multidimensional living means that we now have access to knowing beyond our three dimensional world. We are being informed through invisible channels of communication that involve synchronicity with our natural world and the existing, living energies beyond anything our consciousness has known. It is a big world and we are receptors and co-creators.  If our response is to shut down and block reception, and that is a choice, we are saying no to this new, multidimensional life. On the other hand, when we look around and see that most people are in this land of not knowing with us, we can choose to share our experiences and learn with one another how to navigate this new, multidimensional life.

What is your new story? How are you flowing with multidimensional life now? How are you practicing supreme self-care? Please share in the comments section below!

3 Suggestions for Slowing Down

Feeling lost and confused lately? In our current, life-changing dimensional shift, everyone is challenged. Slowing down so that we can hear our own inner guidance is crucial. Self-care is key to slowing down. In slowing down, we change the conditioned, habitual patterning that causes us to stay busy, to force forward, to suppress the wisdom of our inner experience.

The 3rd Dimension was about drive and ambition. The 5th Dimension is mellower than that.  It no longer works to go outside of the present moment or to push for outcomes. In this new, multidimensional experience, the practices of overworking, overdoing, overthinking and staying busy agitate our functioning and get in the way of knowing what to do, when.

Why Slow Down?

Before we get to the 3 Suggestions for Slowing Down, let’s look at the value of slowing down.

We are no longer operating solely on the mental plane. We are being informed through our entire sensate experience; the channels of this receptivity are unique to each of us; some feel things, others see things, and others hear things, some can know by touch.  Some people are open to the signs that come their way as they travel through their day. The change, now, is that we can no longer think our way through something. Our minds do not have all of the information. If we open to the knowing that comes through our sensate experiences, we get a bigger, clearer picture, as well as a sense of timing. For instance, we might know that we do not yet have all the information that is needed to discern an optimal choice; we might be getting the information to wait.

The 5th Dimension is a multidimensional experience, opening us to a greater reality than is possible within the confines of the 3rd and 4th Dimensions. The 5th Dimension is also a portal to even higher dimensional frequencies. In order to access information that comes to us through our body’s connection with this Living Field of Love and Energy (Possibility) and Knowing, we have to be still.  We have to allow for space in the gaps of our doing.

There are rhythms in nature and there are rhythms within our bodies; we are not 24/7 machines like the ATM at the end of your street. We cycle and ebb and flow and we need good, quality sleep, rest and play and relaxation for optimal functioning. These are some of the reasons why it is helpful to slow down.

Another reason to slow down is that in the 5th Dimension, fear is released. Much of our constant activity is based on fear – deadlines, enough money in the bank, external approval from a boss or a team. You have probably heard this many times, fear has no essence. One of our earlier US Presidents even said this, “Nothing to fear but fear itself.” Our 3rd Dimension experiences were so fear- based that it takes a long, long time, to get this as a truth: fear is a control mechanism and can be released.  One way we release fear is by staying in the present moment.  This is a whole other blog topic, maybe for another time.

For now, the focus is on slowing down. If you have a wiry type body, what is known in the Ayurvedic tradition as a Vata body, or if you were born in the first half of the Lunar Cycle, the waxing Moon from New Moon to Full Moon, then you probably do have an innate orientation to high energy levels.  Your natural state might be motion, however, every living organism has ebb and flow rhythms. For those with heavier body types and those born in the waning Moon, from Full to the end of the Lunar Cycle, slowing down for you might mean taking to the bed occasionally.

Slowing down is a vital skill set for everyone in this shift from 3D to 5D.  The slowing down might look different for you than it does for a loved one or a friend, so please allow comparisons and judgement to fly out the window as you explore your own experiences of slowing down.

The 3 Suggestions for Slowing Down

We change through learning and we learn by doing. To rewire prior conditioning of habitual busyness, accept that learning to slow down takes practice, every day and through multiple, experiential ways.

  1. For part of your daily routine, whether it is in the morning as you wake up or before you go to bed, or during your commute to or from work, be silent, free of radio, tunes, TV. Try this for 5 to 10 minutes and just be still and contemplative as you go about your activity. Notice your breathing, notice your emotion. If fear or anxiety come up, by all means turn on the sounds, however, also try to slow breath through any surfacing anxiety.  If you do experience peace through this practice of a sound stimulation-free time, gradually add minutes, maybe upping your “in silence” time to 30 minutes or longer.

The point of this practice is to increase the comfort level with silence so that, over time, there is more familiarity with listening to intuition and the sensate informing that comes through the living energy field around us.

  1. Consider exploring adding an herbal tea to your daily intake. Or, consider the use of aromatherapy to help still your active mind and body. Some common herbs have a soothing effect and support the body in calming down.  You can research these through many sources. If you go to a health food store, you might be able to buy a small amount of an herb you would like to try from their bulk herb section.

Aromatherapy works on the primitive brain and its use can have an immediate calming effect. Explore aromatherapy options, they come in roll on applicators, creams that you can rub into your wrist, or in essential oils. Sniffing something like a rose oil can have an immediate calming effect to a stressed body. Research aromas that call to you.  Please note that many products used in aromatherapy might not be safe for use with children.  Consult references or professionals to learn more.

Allowing the body to calm, through use of an herbal tea or through the sense of smell, can have a direct effect on slowing down the mind. If it calls to you to use herbs or aromatherapy, practice using them regularly, maybe a couple of times each week over a period of some months. Consistent experiential learning can groove a new imprint.

  1. The last suggestion is to snatch moments through the day and practice slowing down.  For instance, between tasks that you do, stop for 3 to 5 minutes, stretch if you can, close your eyes, breath deep, simply stop.  Taking mini breaks like this throughout the day will recalibrate the mindset of keeping going.  A few ideas for integrating a habit of stopping include: after a meeting, go into the bathroom if you have no other place of privacy and take a few minutes to relax the muscles in your body, relax your face by smiling, even though you might not feel like it, close your eyes, massage your hands, rotate your shoulders, your wrists and your ankles. Look out the window for a few uninterrupted minutes and allow your thoughts to float like the clouds.  Acknowledge when your mind and body need a short break and give them what they want. Consciously assist in the recalibration from overdoing into conscious listening to your own inner experience.

Slowing down is a learned experience, built through trial and error, consistent practice and the cumulative joy that living a slowed down life brings. Please let me know, through the comments section below, how you are slowing down now and how that feels to you.

Feeling Stuck?

Or, how to keep breathing when things are not moving.

You may have been feeling stuck lately, with the feeling of statis similar to being stuck in a vat of molasses.

A Natural Time: Body as Timer perspective on this delay is that both Mercury and Mars are Retrograde. With Mercury going direct on May 22, movement begins, however, there is a shadow period, as I detailed in a post on Mercury Retrograde Cycles. Mercury moves out of the shadow period this cycle on June 7 and Mars is retrograde until the end of June, 2016.

Briefly, retrograde motion is an apparent backward, or retrograde, movement of planetary orbit, as it appears to us on Earth. Many people feel these delayed energies in direct life experience. With Mercury, the retrograde motion covers technology and communication; with Mars, the retrograde motion covers action and the energy of attraction with what we want in life. Retrograde motion involves delays and we often rework ourselves in the process of waiting for forward motion.

How to Wait?

Life does not come with an instruction manual on how to wait. We all have to learn our own path to waiting peacefully. For me, learning to wait has a circuitous route, with multiple components. Content waiting calls forth a skill set that can take lifetimes to develop. This skill set includes patience, trust, getting out of one’s own way, not taking things personally and active collaboration with a Living Field of energy that surrounds, informs, supports and sustains us.  Taking each of these components, one at a time, reveals that they enfold into one other as a flowing, complex whole.

Patience, to me, means, noticing that something is on delay and not fighting it. To be patient means that I have to find ways within my energy body, free of agitation, anxiety, contorted thought, and wait. Patience means that I accept that there are unseen energies at play, doing their part within a time frame over which I have no control.  Patience means care-giving the desire or longing, the want or the need, the vision or the dream, until both conscious and cosmic components come together.

Whom to Trust?

This kind of patience is built on trust. What is it to trust? Whom or what are we trusting?  When outcome feels static, with an absence of response or a delay in connection or implementation, it helps to trust our Soul, our Life Dream, our Heart’s Desire and all of the invisible helpers supporting us in our endeavors. Who we are and what we dream is bigger than our own Self, it is our Self within the Universe, playing our resonant and accepted piece. We are not the only energies at play and sometimes, we have to wait. Trust in ourselves, our vision, and the cooperative, collaborative, co-creating Universe helps with waiting. Unwavering trust helps.

Getting out of our own Way

Activating trust takes us to the next step, which is getting out of our own way. The vision of what we want to do is actually a cosmic project. We are informed, through intuition or the dream or mentored guidance, we feel resonant with a choice of action and we say yes. When we meet with delay, it is vital to remember that we are a single player on a cosmic stage and many other pieces and parts are at play, even though we might not feel or see them. We can learn to be patient and trust that our cue to resume action will come. Getting tangled up in limiting, rational thought can twist us out of alignment, missing our cue into movement when the delay lifts and momentum starts up again.

We get out of our own way through conscious collaboration with the unseen helpers in support of us and our projects.  These projects can be about our life’s work or finding our mate, or moving household, whatever it is that your Heart desires. What you want is legitimate and yours, as long as there is no harm involved. The invisible helpers can be angels, spiritual and lineage ancestors, saints, masters, teachers, healers, nature beings, elementals, like fairies, leprechauns or any beneficent helpers on the unseen side of our reality based life.

Trust involves acceptance that we are working with unseen energies of the beneficent kind, we are working with our Soul, including parts of our Soul that may not yet be embodied. We are working with forces in the Universe that are vast and ever present to help us in support of our fulfillment and materializing what we want for Life. In trust, they help us with timing that goes beyond what we understand.

Getting out of our own way is based on direct inner knowing that we are not alone. There is an integral connection of Self to what we wish for; there is legitimacy to our longing. When we are met face-to-face with prolonged delay we may meet, head on, conditioned beliefs like scarcity thinking, limitation thinking, feelings of not deserving. Getting out of our own way requires ownership that what we dream, imagine, long for, is ours to have. It requires upping the frequencies to realize, on visceral levels, that we are co-collaborators with a loving universe that wants for us what we want for ourselves. It requires opening to support that our unseen helpers will co-create with us to materialize what burns inside of us to create.

Crystal Clearing to I AM

Getting out of our own way requires not taking things personally.  This piece is huge, because it involves crystal clearing on the continuum of our humanity with our divinity. When we say, state, live I AM, we are claiming our divinity within our humanity. When we take things personally, we are stuck on an unconscious want or need or false belief that limits and confines us. Through personal choice of processes, dreamwork, journaling, silent walks in nature, talking with a friend, consulting with a guide or mentor, we can unveil the hidden need and embrace it rather than continually reject it and have it play out as us getting in our own way.

When we get out of our own way, we affirm that we are part of, we belong, we are supported and what we want will show up in divine design; we are not materializing by ourselves!

Yes, there are times in life, months on end, when it feels like nothing is moving. With the recent Mercury Retrograde and the current Mars retrograde, and from the perspective of Body as Timer, the energy can feel frustratingly stagnant. Please caution against hopelessness.  During these slow-to-no movement times, notice what is your stopping block. Is it not having patience, is it not trusting that you will get what you want, that you will be fulfilled, is it getting in your own way, trying to move forward when Life’s breaks are on, is it taking things personally? Explore your personal road blocks for the hidden treasures that they are. Allow connection in a fuller, more conscious way with the invisible help that is available to us as human beings. Whether you know these helpers as angels, or Saints, or beings of the Devic Realm, by whatever name you call these helpers, open to the partnership, the collaboration, that takes the pain out of waiting.

How do you work with the cosmic delay periods? Please share in the comments section, as we all learn from, and with, one another.

Superior Self-Care

The 5th Dimension does not support a linear experience of time. This means that plotting and planning, one step in front of the other, one piece of the puzzle in alignment with the next, are not viable options right now. The 5D experience is neither rational, nor logical, yet things come together in amazing and synchronous ways. With 5D, we consciously choose, based on authentic needs and desires specific to each moment. This means that we need to get out of our head and feel our way through life. Does this work for me now? What do I need and want now? What is my choice now? Questions like these help us discern our way within the holographic experience of 5D living.

One experience that cannot be delayed in life in 5D is superior self-care. For optimal functioning, best results, we have to take full and authentic care of ourselves. This means that we pay attention to what we are feeling, needing and wanting. Patterns of low self-esteem and feelings of undeserving get in the way of superior self-care. There is no room in 5D living for low self-esteem or feelings of not being good enough.

Low self-esteem, feelings of being unworthy are imprints of past conditioning and they are not based on the truth of us; rather they are based on adaptations that we had to make in 3D living. 5D supports another experience of living that knows Self as worthy, good enough and deserving of superior self-care.

A practice of superior self-care is vital to functioning in 5D.Thinking about the future clogs present fulfillment and thinking about the past blocks present momentum. We know this, yet how do we live present moment awareness when we have to function in jobs and families and social commitments that still seem to be operating in the duality, the good/bad consciousness of 3D?

Conscious breathing within each moment is one of the best ways to stay in the moment. Awareness of our sensate experience within each moment also supports presence. What am I feeling, what are the energies around me now, are they supportive and resonant or not? How do your keep your energy full and fluid enough to keep that question current?

Our bodies, according to many people who write about the 5th Dimension, are becoming more light filled and less dense. Our dreams are even changing. What we eat, how we sleep, how we tend to legitimate emotional needs of quiet and silence, of connection with others who are resonant with our energies, how we stay sparked and alive with interest and curiosity, how we move our bodies, how we engage with nature are all components of superior self-care and the challenge is to meet all of these needs thoroughly and with love.

Ignoring hunger, ignoring the discomfort of a craving, ignoring constant audio stimulation that blocks sweet silence, resisting periods of doing nothing by staying busy, overworking, over- or under-engaging in social connection, inertia of body movement are all detriments to superior self-care. This is not about being perfect; it is about being authentic and listening to your heart, soul and body through each moment, each day.

Sometimes, one is required to stay engaged with others when a little alone time or silence is what one needs, such as in the case of parenting. Or being on deadline with an important work project. Or having to overwork to pay the rent. The demand to meet these commitments is real. Conscious breathing helps. So does learning relaxation techniques and using them, in the moment. Looking out the window at the sky can help. Smiling helps. Self-talk can help; saying something like, “I have to do this now and I do this with as much grace and ease as I can muster and I know that everything changes. One day, my circumstances will be different.”

I have heard it said that the 6th Dimension is the realm of majic. If we can be present with our selves in 5D living, through conscious presence of how we are feeling in each moment, through feelings of worthiness and positive self-regard that automatically result in superior self-care, through an experience of Body as Timer, time as fluid and internal rather than mechanical and external, through the release of duality and hierarchy, we open to multidimensional living. We engage with the living Field of energy that surrounds us, inside and out, and we create majic, without concern of past or future. We release the pressure valve and sense and feel into the moment. From there we can be informed of better, truer choices that help us find our way, with humour and joy, through the demand commitments of our life. There is only this moment and this moment is alive with information and release of pressure. Breathe, Be, Sense, Feel Now.

Why Tolerance for Being Alone Is Necessary for Good Living

Aligning with natural cycles as a direct, physical experience requires living in ebb and flow, much as our Moon does. There are times of great activity and energy, such as at Full Moon times, and there are quieter times of repose, rest and stillness, such as at Dark of the Moon and Void of Course Moon times.

Until recently, I was not consciously aware that there is a generational divide, a large group of young people who might feel challenged acquiescing to the slower, low energy times. The term “low energy times” is not a pejorative. Resting and stillness are part of the productivity and creativity cycle and low energy times are cycle phases that naturally occur in life, nature and the human body.

An essay that I encountered recently spells out, in historical detail, the evolution of our comfort levels with resting, stillness, time alone, time in nature and doing nothing. While the essay is a literary read, it offers informative perspective on our current wildly wired time.

As a natural time consultant, I share experiences aligning with natural cycles, including the challenges and benefits. Through deep listening, shared reflection and intuitive coaching, and decades of lived experience, I assist others who wish to align with natural cycles.

My adaptation to living in alignment with natural cycles comes from my own unique constitution, and that is different for everyone. I am someone who loves silence, time in nature, and doing nothing. I was born before wireless communication was universal, as it is now. I remember Saturday afternoons, growing up, when I felt very bored. Daydreaming was my go to activity.

People born in more recent times still get bored, however, their antidote to boredom includes frequent texting to friends and folks who might not be friends. In addition, there are a gazillion television or youtube channels to distract, or gaming. As someone who invites the experience of doing nothing, I am up against mind-boggling competition!

There is a slight turn in the wind, though. Do a google search for “doctors prescribing time in nature” and a wide array of articles pop up. Spending time alone in nature or engaged in solitary activities like taking a nap, or daydreaming while sipping a cup of tea are indulgences from an earlier time, however, they are actually timeless examples of good medicine.

Being alone is easy for some and challenging for others, no matter the generation into which they are born. True connection feeds the soul, promotes health and a sense of well-being. Being comfortable being alone, with times of silence and stillness, ground the relationship with one’s self. Healthy relationship with one’s self opens the door to all other good relationships.

Please share your joys and challenges being alone in the comments section. I would love to hear from you!

The Power of a Fresh Start

Up from down; feet on the ground, a vibrant new beginning coursing through me. This was the direct experience I had with this recent New Moon.

I feel the energy of the ebb and flow of natural cycles within my body as an inescapable experience. My personal dark moon phase comes about a week before the collective dark moon phase. With this pattern, there is a slow down, then reenergizing followed soon by another downward pull and then a breakthrough new beginning.

While this pattern of cycling occurs each lunar month, some months the pull to rest is stronger than others. The extent to which I am pulled to stillness seems to be determined by the proximity of the New Moon’s sign and degree to a prominent placement within my natal chart. With no direct connection, there is still a pull to rest. When there is a direct connection the pull to rest during the dark collective moon is potent to the power of 10!

In this most recent cycle, there was a compelling call to rest; the New Moon was conjunct the descendant angle of my birth chart. This is an area of connection with others, and I seemed to be pulled into deep stillness during this past dark Moon. Yes, it has been -3 degrees Fahrenheit where I live, always a time for indoor comfort, however, with this dark Moon, my experience was rest, rest and more rest in the three days leading up to the New Moon.

Then, the morning following the New Moon, about 12 hours after it became exact, I bounced out of bed with a strong, visceral experience of New Beginning, energy palpable for a fresh start.

I love these experiences of acknowledging my body’s rhythms in connection with nature’s rhythms. While it is hard to resist the conditioned habit to keep going, I have learned over the years that I am better off aligning with this gravitational pull. When I don’t align with it, I place undue stress on my physicality. I have learned to acquiesce to rest when the pull to rest is strong. This is how I understand self-care.

New beginnings come in many ways; for instance, each time we do laundry, or change our sheets, or sweep the floor or take out the trash, we are refreshing our space to begin again. Aligning our restarts in coordination with planetary cycles helps us renew ourselves and our focus. It is a forgiving experience, to accept a restart.

While it may seem that I am doing nothing during low energy times, my body, psyche, and soul, are releasing and realigning for the begin again moment. This is the cycle of life and death and while actual death does not occur at the end of every day, or lunar month or seasonal shift, an energetic one does. When we allow that release to happen through honouring the pull to be still, quiet, reflective, even, perhaps, non-active, we allow the full cycle of beginning, middle and ending to operate unrestricted within our direct experience.

In addition to the gravitational pull of cyclic living, something else is calling us to slow down, be still and rest. Other people who write about the shift in frequency to the 5th dimension address the body’s need to accommodate the new frequencies and new light in this new time. It seems that we have to allow the time and space for our bodies to adjust to these higher vibrational shifts and that can come through a need to lie down and rest.

These calls to rest are not predictable like a lunar cycle rhythm is, however, they do seem to be occurring now. It feels crucial to rest when we are called to rest. Labels like slacker and lazy and procrastinator can be examined in light of direct physical experience. What does your body, your physicality, soul and Spirit need? If it is rest and times of doing nothing, consider trusting the request and your body and the sacred timing of materializing what you want to create and the full process of doing so. Consider that doing nothing may actually be part of the productivity cycle. Nature lives like this.

Work and family responsibilities may impinge on your ability to make a full stop. In those times, you can get creative in how you minimize commitments and maximize rest. Self talk has value, for instance, telling your body that you recognize it needs sleep, or rest or to do nothing, acknowledge that you hear that need and that you will meet this need as soon as you can. Consider, too,  asking for help or offering help when someone near you needs to be still.

This blog is about changing relationship with time; it is about recognizing the body as timer. When the mind tempts to overrun the wisdom of the body, give it a rest!

For readers new to this blog, the Personal Lunar Cycle is determined by the phase of the Moon in which one is born, and the Collective Lunar Cycle starts with each New Moon and continues through the eight lunar phases. Finding one’s rhythm between the Personal and Collective Lunar Cycles gives insight on how to work with ebbs and flows of energy levels in conscious awareness and respect. Individual consultations are available for those interested in working with these natural cycles.
