Threading the New Moon into the Tapestry of your Creations

The Value of a Reset

Maybe you use the end of the calendar year, the birthday, or the end of your fiscal year to reflect and reset. You might not realize that each New Moon allows us to reset. In a 28-day cycle, the nightly love light in our sky gives us a chance to start new.

We do not throw the baby out with the bathwater with these fresh starts. We build on what we have understood, accomplished, and ventured forward. The New Moon offers spiraling new threads in the tapestry of our being.

We build on these refresh points to enhance self-understanding, our relationships, family life, work, creativity, and soul work. It is human nature to want second chances, and each New Moon gives us that.

Allow the New Moon to find its legs, maybe 24 to 36 hours into the new cycle, to allow the new conscious capacity to awaken. The New Moon phase is like the infancy phase in human growth and development. In flowing from the end of one cycle into the beginning of the next cycle, we move from formlessness into form. We take a while to wake up to the new life and opportunity.

Feeling the refresh and restart point of each New Moon represents subtle energy. The human body is resonant, though. If we slow down and allow for stillness, we can feel the ending of one Lunar Cycle and the beginning of the next. This embodied awareness translates into monthly fresh starts.

If you want to get started following the Lunar Cycle as a natural reset button for your physiology, vision, goal setting, intention manifesting, self and family caregiving, here are tips for getting started:

  1. Note the New Moon in the calendar that you use. Most calendars identify the date/time of each New Moon, and if this information is not in the calendar you use regularly, it is easy to input that information.
  2. Realize that each New Moon reflects the infancy stage of human growth and development. As the new cycle gets started, you might feel nebulous, unembodied, or ungrounded. That is part of the process which adds to the awareness of a new beginning.
  3. Within 24 to 36 hours of the New Cycle, you will probably feel stronger, clearer, and not as hazy or vague.
  4. Set intentions for what you want to begin or add to your current creation.
  5. For relationships, intimate and familial, consider celebrating each new lunar cycle, within three days of its start, with a meeting or a meal where you share accountability and plans. This is a time to check-in and keep fresh with what everyone wants and needs in real-time.
  6. Realize within yourself the chance to start new. Do you need to update the post-it notes on your mirror? Do you need to set new goals or deadlines? Remember, this is a 28-day cycle so that you can focus on short-term, easy, and flexible.
  7. Look up in the sky some night during the first week of the New Moon phase and see the shape of the Moon. Own that new beginning within you.

The above suggestions relate to the Collective Lunar Cycle, which covers all of us on Earth. As described in earlier posts, the Personal Lunar Cycle is determined by the phase of the Moon in which you are born. So, you can also access a second refresh point each Lunar month. I cannot stress enough how valuable a sense of this timing is to human wellbeing. The Collective and the Personal Lunar Cycles are how we spiral through life. They are innate rhythms within and around us.

A workbook on A New Relationship with Time is in the works, and more information on these natural cycles is included in that workbook. If you have questions before that workbook is published, please bounce back in the comments or email aureal@5dherenow.com.

Please also look up at the Moon and feel Her loving wisdom radiate back to you, permeating your physiology, consciousness, and heart.

Void of Course Moon Times this Week

If you are ever curious about why you lose the plot unexpectedly, consider checking out the Void of Course Moon. When there are no aspects – geometrical relations between the Moon and the personal planets – the Moon is Void. Buckminster Fuller taught us that energy is contained in the form.

Sacred geometry, the geometrical relationship between spaces, provides the forms to contain energy. Sacred geometry is everywhere–the seating dynamics of your dining table, conference room meeting, office set-up–anywhere people are gathered, a geometrical shape represents the social configuration.

As above, so below. The geometrical shapes formed in the sky between the Moon and a personal planet give form to the energetic structure that supports the function.

When the Moon is Void, there is no container for the energy to function. The energy is free-floating. These are perceptible feelings within the human body. I have people close to me, not interested in astrology, yet they have heard me talk about the Void Moon so often that they now feel it. They ask Aureal, where’s that Moon?

If efficiency is one of your high values, and if you do not want to waste time, money, or energy, paying attention to the Void Moon times warrants a look.

The Sun is Involved, Too

In the quantum leap to the 5th Dimension consciousness, the entirety of our cosmos transforms. Our Sun is in on this shift, too. We now have solar flares, sunspots, the Schumann Resonance, plasma downloads, and much activity that affects our physicality. It used to be that I could look at the Void of Course Moon tables and plan and schedule downtime. Now, with the Sun and atmospheric shifts involved, there is not an ephemeris, a table to look at for predictable times.

This is why it is vital to allow your body to be your timer in life. When you are tired, consider not pushing forward. Consider resting, restoring, and receiving the downloads, even if you are unaware of the higher frequencies being downloaded. Resting when your body wants that, stopping when it hurts to proceed,  helps raise your frequency and, therefore, your capacity to do your work with more fulfillment and optimized outcome.

Practicing stopping and resting during Void Moons helps build the capacity to stop when our Sun and atmosphere raise frequencies. When we witness and positively respond to the atmospheric impacts, even if we do not understand them, we affirm our belonging as part of the whole.

Spaceweatherlive.com, https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/, and many of the YouTube posters that share information on the Schumann Resonance are sources for more details on these electromagnetic and atmospheric changes.

Void of Course Moon Times

The Void of Course Moon times occurs according to your time zone. Please use the time zone link to determine the Void of Course Moon times where you live.

For all of us around the globe, the Void Moon times are relatively short this week. For the United States and Canada, Tuesday, May 31, afternoon and evening are affected, and morning or midday on Friday, June 3. For Europe, it looks like the Moon is void during late evening and overnight hours.

Even though the times are short, it still helps to stop trying to do business as usual during a Void Moon time because there is no form to contain the energy and the outcome is uncertain.

Void Moons: No form to contain the energy which feels free-floating and hard to focus. Heeding what your body wants during Void Moons — more internal focus, less external focus, and more stillness, quiet, and rest — are great ways to embody the Moon.

The Void Moon Times this week include:

Tuesday, May 31, 4:10 PM to Wednesday, June 1, 1:49 AM EDT

Friday, June 3, 11:15 AM to 2:39 PM EDT

Sunday, June 5, 7:13 PM to Monday, June 6, 2: 23 AM EDT

Fourth Week of November 2021 Lunar Cycle

Photo by Thiago Matos from Pexels

4th Week of this Lunar Cycle November 27, 7:28 AM EST to December 4, 2021, New Moon Solar Eclipse, 2:44 AM EST Cosmic cycles invite retreats at times, and now is one of those times. Your holy body, your Sacred Heart, and your Divine Soul have carried you through the Lunar Month and the Solar Year. I imagine you want to hear what they have to say as you wind down in both the Lunar and Solar cycles. In this fourth Lunar week, the physical energy to do and accomplish drains us, and the focus turns inward. Not so much selfish introspection, rather galactic introspection. The soulful questions you might be fielding are: “What did I learn, and what are the next steps in the learning?” On November 21, 2021, our Sun went into Sagittarius, the last Sun sign of the Solar year, before turning toward the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2021, at 10:59 AM EST. The Winter begins the new Solar Cycle. This Lunar week and Solar month offer us a sacred time of quiet reflection, a search for peace, and rest that calms our longings. The Time for contentment, resolute reflection, and seeding sacred dreams is at hand. Slowing down takes practice, and you can start small. One suggestion is to use that time between sleep and waking as a sacred border crossing. Be alert for subtle awareness of positive self-regard that floats into consciousness.  Consider leaving the music or the TV off as you get ready in the morning. Same as at night when you prepare for sleep. Option for Action:    The fourth weeks of Lunar Cycles are my favorite because the Lunar Quarter Moon is my home base. This is where my Sun/Moon phase angle was at the time of my birth. I know the energy of the last quarter Moon in my blood and bones. The Sun/Moon phase at the time of our birth imprints a pattern of energy, along with a personality characteristic, that follows us through life. If you want to know your Sun/Moon phase, check out https://hobbyscript.space/moon-phase/ If you want to know the personality imprint with your Sun/Moon phase, check here. If you would like training on aligning with the natural rhythm of your Sun/Moon phase angle, also known as the Personal Lunar Cycle, contact me. The Void Moon Times this week include:

Sunday, November 28, 7:02 PM to Monday, November 29, 3:55 AM

Tuesday, November 30, 11:20 PM to Wednesday, December 1, 6:56 AM

Friday, December 3, 12:23 AM to 7:14 AM

The Void Moons are mainly short periods this week! Here is a time converter: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter-classic.html 5D Here, Now          The more I bring the book 5D Here, Now, Ordinary Descriptions of An Extraordinary Shift through the publication process, the more I experience multiple access points for shifting to 5D consciousness. One of these access points is Time. The 5th Dimension does not sustain being hooked on Time as something controlling and external. Our human capacity to experience Time as a flowing, organic experience is perceptible through body intelligence. To share that direct experience is why I write these posts. When you release and let go, as we are invited to do in this 4th week of the Lunar Cycle, more serendipity shows up in our lives. You can take that to the bank. Publication of the book is planned for February 2022. Blessed be!  See you next week!

Allowing Our Moon’s Magnetics to Pull You toward Stillness

In the early 1980s, I remember feeling bewildered that I had energy during one-half of each month and wanted to do nothing the other half of each month. This confusion was before I had consciousness around the permeable flow of the Moon’s rhythms in nature and within me.

Now that I understand the shifting rhythms, I work with them consciously. I have just had my Personal Dark Moon with its luscious pull to be quiet and still. It is a majical time that filters, warms and nurtures. Dark Moons rest my body, Soul, and Spirit.

Everyone has his or her unique patterning between the Personal and the Collective Lunar Cycles.  My Personal New Moon occurs about one week before the Collective New Moon. With this patterning, I have three days of magnetic pull to stillness and then an energetic uplift with my Personal New Moon. A few days after this, I go down and in again with the Collective Dark Moon, and then a fuller, energetic resurgence with the Collective New Moon. During the last ten days of the Collective Lunar Cycle, for me,  the needle on the energy spectrum trends toward low.

Flowing with this pattern allows my body rest and more rest, with the reflective peace that comes with stillness. These are abundantly rich times, and I resurface in both the Personal and Collective New Moons with new insights, and fresh starts.

The reflection that broke through the surface during this recent Personal Dark Moon relates to the heavy tension that gets stored in my body when I focus on the unexplainable chaos in our world now. In the United States, we have someone in power appearing to break all rules, yet keeps going. We have police shooting people to death, without charges brought against them and we have a former, revered comedian on trial for sexual assault, with legions of women in the background echoing similar assault, and the trial results in a hung jury.  In the world, we have audacious events of mass deaths by unfathomable acts of terror. Who can explain this topsy-turvy world?

For those of us working with the collective consciousness shift to higher dimensions, we understand that these bizarre outer circumstances represent the dismantling of the old order.  We get that. Living through it is another matter, as hardly anyone anticipated the dismantling would be so disgraceful, shocking, offensive, extreme.

The impact on our collective psyche is serious. People who are not aware of the quantum dimensional shift are having a tough time. People who are aware of this quantum shift are also having a tough time. Stress levels tip the balance scales with somber effect.

I have felt this stress as it shows up in clenched muscle tension that stifles life flow. This physical contraction hurts, and as a sovereign being, I must shift this. We all have anchors that bring us to center. One of my main anchors involves synchronizing physical energy levels with Moon flow.

Because I stopped, rested, and listened during my most recent Personal Dark Moon, I heard a plan that come through my inner caretaker.  During the Collective Dark Moon this week, I am taking a news cleanse.  I am not reading news online. I already do not watch the news on TV, and this week, I am giving up the hours I spend every day reading news online.  Our New Moon occurs Friday evening, June 23, 10:32 PM, EDT.  I will discern then whether I want to return to spending precious, potentially creative, moments reading news online.

Before the November election, I stopped listening to NPR news and have not returned to that practice. My system cannot take it.  My system has been on overload with all the online news I consumed,  and in this collective Dark Moon, I release that practice, too. I will have more time for creativity, more time for connecting with others, more time for tending to my inner life, as is optimal during a dark Moon phase.

It is rough out there. We must keep to kindness and supreme self-care. Do you feel the magnetic pull to stillness when it knocks on your psyche? Are you allowing it to help you stop, rest and listen to your inner wisdom? Please share in the comments section. If you would like assistance determining the pattern between your Personal and Collective Lunar Cycles, let me know.

Reporting on a Win!

This week I have happy news to share:  a narrative report on my 22 years’ experience working with Natural Time, Body as Timer, has been published in The Journal of Research of the American Federation of Astrologers. Volume 17, 2017.

If you have been to one of my classes, or if we have talked in person, you know that this path I am on has seemed, at times, a lonely one. People are not so interested in changing their relationship with time from an external one to an internal one. In addition, if you know anything about me, my strengths are not in sales.

It has been a long, slow journey with this work that is core to who I am and my part in the world. To have this esteemed organization, The American Federation of Astrologers, which was incorporated in 1938, recognize and acknowledge the importance of aligning with cycles of the Sun and Moon as internal experiences, feels great and cause for celebration.

In honour of this publication, I offer a special sale on a Personal Lunar Cycle report. Normally $125.00, from now until the New Moon, April 26, 2017 the Personal Lunar Cycle report is available for $100.00.  With this report, you receive information on the phase of the Moon in which you are born, how that phase relates to your life story, and your next 13 Personal New Moons. Also included, is information on how to calculate your Personal New Moons in the future. As a special bonus with this offer, you have 3-month access to a monthly group conference call on how to work with this natural cycle.

If you are interested in this offer, contact me and I will reply with a birthdata form for you to complete and a link for purchase through PayPal.

If you are interested in purchasing the anthology, you can find it here.  The title of my piece is Qualitative Research Narrative: Report on the Personal Lunar Cycle, page 153.

Whatever your level of support, or interest, in this work, I am grateful!

Having to Function During a Personal Dark Moon

Aha! moments are sacred, special and bring meaning to our lives. I recently had an Aha! awareness that time is like a second skin we can slip into. This works when it is our rhythm that is slipped into time, rather than time, as an external force, being  superimposed upon us.

Science tells us that time does not exist. Yet, we seem to have universally agreed upon something we call “time”. We show up for work on time, we meet at the movies on time, we pay our taxes on time.

My life and my work are about Natural Time, Body as Timer, living in sync with rhythms of nature as experienced viscerally. A major piece of my work is the Personal Lunar Cycle, a pattern of energy that is based on the phase of the Moon in which we are born. There is a Dark Moon to this Personal Cycle, just as there is a Dark Moon in the Collective Cycle. This Dark Moon represents a naturally occurring low energy time. It is low energy because we are ending a cycle, emptying out in order to begin again with the New Moon.

I choose to live with this cycle each lunar month, and have done so for over twenty years. As I wrote last October, the Dark Moon in both Personal or Collective cycle is a pull to stillness. It is a highly intuitive time and the benefits of stopping to listen are great.

That is not always possible, however, as I wrote in that October blog post. The need to produce happened again in my most recent Personal Dark Moon cycle. I knew to pace myself and to choose as great a version of self-care as possible. I was in bearing witness mode as I showed up, was present to responsibilities and produced.

A Dark Moon period can affect a time span of 2-4 days. I knew what was coming and limited other obligations, focusing only on what was necessary. The 24 hours before my Personal New Moon, I surprised myself with the experience of full functioning. I did not feel compromised in any way, energetically.

The day of my Personal New Moon, though, I did feel the strong pull to gravity, the strong wish to tune everything out other than quiet stillness. I did show up and function adequately that Personal New Moon Day, however, that evening, I crashed. I took to the bed as soon as I could and simply rested. The next day I did have 100% time freedom and rested fully and completely.

The Aha! waking thought that Personal New Moon day was a direct experience of my body slipping into Time and allowing internal and external rhythms to sync. Rhythm is everything in nature. Finding the vibratory rhythm between our internal experience and our external circumstance means that we take our time and sync with the moment, consciously.

My work, feeling the Body as Timer, is a lifelong journey to embody nature’s cycles within the human experience. This work comes from the direct experience that we are sovereign beings. While we might have to function in relation to an external demand, we can do it with an internal sense of personal choice and in alignment with all that is, including the pace of  our body, mind and Soul.

Slow down, you move too fast,” was a phrase from a popular song during my teens. My Mother used to remind me of that, when I was a young girl trying to find my way. My other Mother, our Moon, has always been beaming that to me, to feel Time as my own, and move accordingly.

How about you? How do you feel Time as an inner experience?  Please share in the comments section below.

The Birthday as a Structural, Organizing Principle

Whether we celebrate with festive parties or quiet reverie, the birthday offers a structural organizing principle within the play of life. The birthday is a sacred time, a renewal of life on earth in direct connection with our Sun, the ultimate umbilical cord.

A Solar Return is when the sun in the current sky is at the same place as the Sun at the time of birth. As we age, the Solar Return can occur prior to the actual calendar date of the birthday, even a day or two before the actual birth date. This Solar Return is an inner energy experience that can be acknowledged and honoured.

The ebb and flow of Solar energy goes like this: about one month before the birthday, personal energy level starts to wane. About three days before the birthday, personal energy can be quite low and with a strong internal focus.  We are coming to the end of a cycle, just as personal energy levels dip at the end of the Lunar Cycle, during the Dark of the Moon phase just before the New Moon.

There is nothing wrong with this pull to stillness. In fact, this slowdown reflects resonate alignment with cosmic flow.  Once the Solar Return happens, energy starts to build again and a surge of renewal is palpable.

Life is cyclical.  There are long cycles and there are shorter cycles. Our bodies feel them all. When we tune into the personal timing of our Solar Cycle, we can make the most of this innate, structural, organizing principle and tap its benefits: a renewal of life on Earth in sync with Sun, Self and Earth.  A Oneness of cosmic alignment.

As some readers know, my work is about Personal and Collective Lunar Cycles.   There is a Collective starting point and a Personal starting point within both the Solar and Lunar Cycles. Having a sense of this inner/outer timing structure, and the fact that the Personal and Collective cycles represent cyclical overlays, helps understand one’s personal rhythm within the frame of the collective rhythm.

Here is an example:  My birthday occurs mid-February.  I do not feel the full start to my new year until after my birthday.  Yes, I recognize the Winter Solstice as the start of the year, I give nodding acknowledgement to January 1st each year and I also align with the resonance of the Chinese New Year which starts with the February New Moon.  I feel these natural cycles, however, the new year does not fully start for me until after my mid-February birthday.

What this suggests is that my resonance is aligned more with a Personal Solar Cycle than with the Collective Solar Cycle. Neither personal nor collective alignment is better; it is helpful, though, to know which is your primary resonance, personal or collective.

My most recent Solar renewal led me to thoughts about those born in seasons other than Winter. With a February birthday, the fullness of my new start time is in the winter; midwinter to be sure, however, near the Winter Solstice and the February New Moon, which for centuries has guided the Chinese to the start of their New Year.

For those born in Spring, Summer or Fall, I wonder how the Solar organizing principle plays out.  I am talking about the very internal structure of dissolution and renewal as expressed by cosmic flow. In the comments section below, please share your experience of the personal and collective starts to the year.

The reference here is the overlay of personal within collective and collective within personal. Bringing consciousness to these innate rhythms helps frame the experience of one’s unique rhythm with Life.  Such a reflection can provide grounding and understanding through a visceral sense of a structural, organizing principle for one’s life.

Given the current political climate, many of us are examining our personal role within the collective whole. Aligning personal Solar year with collective Solar is one facet of our entwined life on Earth.

12 Genuine, Fresh Start Dates in 2017

copper-1476023_1280-swirl

We are at that time of year when we turn the page. We have reviewed the past year, released what we no longer want and set our vision for a wonderful, majical, fulfilling 2017. A new beginning, a fresh start.

Many people use a restart date that coincides with a natural cycle, like the Solstice or the Spring Equinox, wherever they consider the start of a new year. Many cultures start the New Year with a New Moon.  For many others, though, January 1 is the reset button. It does helps to use markers for assessment and evaluation and the marker of the Gregorian Calendar Year is deep in our collective psyche.

In whatever measurement, a natural cycle or the common calendar, one year seems a long time to hold the focus. Much can fall through the cracks, distraction overwhelms and focus wanes. It seems inevitable that accountability falters when held in the frame for one full year.

There is another way to release, revise and measure.  This other way uses each lunar cycle as a definitive unit for accountability. As I have written before, cycles are the current through which we flow through life.

This 28-day cycle measurement is easier on the body, the mind and the emotions because our Moon is considered Mother energy and we feel her flow. The Lunar Cycle is not as stern as a full year’s measurement. Yes, we can use both cyclic measurements, with perhaps the year as an overview and the lunar month as a consistent check-in point.

earth-1544757_1280-earth-and-moon

If you accept the invitation to use the Moon as marker for bringing intentions, goals and visions into alignment with your wisdom and your action, the twelve New Moons for 2017 are listed below.  The two listed in bold are eclipses, especially potent days for reviews and restarts and I will write more about those in an upcoming blog post.

One suggestion for maximizing these review/restart pivots is to mark three full 24 hour periods that precede these dates and times on your calendar using the notation, “Dark of the Moon.”  The Dark of the Moon is the emptying out phase of this natural cycle and bodies resonate with this rhythm.   During the Dark Moon time, limit your schedule as much as you can and allow for extra rest and inner wandering. Soon after the New Moon, acknowledge the upward surge of energy; the restart has begun.

Use the Dark Moon for gentle release, stillness and divine time with your Soul. At each New Moon, you can set a goal, along with an action plan for how to get there.

For hearty souls who want more, there is an additional refresh, restart pivot time each lunar month that is determined by the phase of the Moon in which you are born. This is the Personal Lunar Cycle; the other is the Collective Lunar Cycle, as that is operational for all of us on Earth. Online training is in the works for the potent Personal Lunar Cycle. If you want more information before then, contact me.

Here are the dates and times for the New Moons in 2017.

Many blessing wishes as you align your Light with Moon Light.

Sacred Timing

play-994676_1280-dark-moon

When our Moon empties out at the end of a cycle, there is no light in the night sky. Correspondingly, during dark Moon times, our own light turns inward, in sync with a gravitational pull to slow down and be still.  This inward pull to stillness, to being with our deep selves, occurs twice each month. Once with the Collective Lunar Cycle, and once with the Personal Lunar cycle.

Both cycles, the personal and the collective, have the same rhythmic pattern; it is the start days that vary. The Collective Lunar Cycle starts with the New Moon, and the Personal Lunar Cycle starts with the phase of the Moon in which you are born. The Dark Moon, this inward pull to quiet receptivity, occurs three days before the New Moon in both the personal and collective cycles.

A Dark Moon in the collective cycle is occurring as I post this blog article.  The New Moon occurs Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1:39 PM Eastern Daylight Time. This means that the Collective Dark Moon starts Thursday, October 27, 2016, in the afternoon in US Eastern time zone.  The inward pull toward quiet refection begins on Thursday and continues through the weekend, until the New Moon.  Within a day after the New Moon, we start to feel the upward energy surge again.

Not everyone feels this timing. It can start with a nudge, a pull toward stillness, reflection, rest, quiet. If you sense any of this, please open the invitation. The more we align with natural, cyclic timing, the more the experience becomes familiar to us. Like all new skill sets, when we pay attention, we open receptor pathways of the original blueprints that our bodies are timers.

The Personal Lunar Cycle is the other cycle with this rhythmic pattern of slowing down, release and renewal. I just had my Personal Dark Moon; It started late Friday, October 21, 2016, continued through Saturday, all day Sunday and ended with my Personal New Moon, Monday morning, October 24, 2016 in the 8 o’clock hour.

I anticipate the personal dark Moon phase as a sacred holiday. This is a time when I honour the whole of my life in synchronized flow with our living Universe. For us, on Earth, flow means the Moon is involved.

I have been aligning with this sacred timing since 1993.  For 95% of this time, I have planned and scheduled around this pivotal timing. I have minimized commitments, laid low, and observed sensate release and regeneration typical of cyclic endings and beginnings.

Seven years ago, I took a nursing job on a per diem basis, even though I worked fulltime. I choose to forego benefits like paid time off so that  I could control my schedule and not have to work on low energy Personal Dark Moon days.  There is predictive value in knowing this rhythm, and I used it for self-care and well-being, and to optimize the potent receptivity (intuition, inner knowing, coming to center) inherent during Dark Moon times.

This past Personal Lunar Cycle, though, I was under deadline for a high-pressured, freelance writing assignment and I had to work through the low energy time. Eliminating distractions, cancelling social plans and staying focused on the writing task, I did muster the stamina to complete the task. It took all that I had, energetically and emotionally.

The carrot at the end of the stick was that I knew the Moon was void of course all day on Monday, enhancing my ability to rest post project. My schedule was clear and I gave myself a do-nothing day. It was calm, sweet, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and restorative.

On Tuesday, I was aware of still needing a little slower down time and I eased into the day with that awareness, of being kind with myself.

I have been through enough of these Personal Lunar Cycle turnings to know that if I do not stop and be still during this precious, sacred time, a depression, an irritability, an out of sorts experience shows up.  It is the beast in nature; if we do not feed the beast what it needs, in this case rest and quiet, it roars in ugliness.

I did not get the stillness that I needed during my Personal Dark Moon, however, I knew enough to not continue forward before taking deep rest. I was a little off schedule, however, I still gave myself the self-care and stillness that I needed.

Our bodies need these rest and reset times daily, twice within the Lunar Cycle, one Personal, one Collective, and yearly, right before our birthday, with our Solar Return.

tiger-1673874_1280-resting

I want to shout from the rooftop, I want to play the trumpet and bang the cymbals, I want to sing an operatic High C to let people know about these natural cycle turnings, these pivot times of stop and restart. Coming to zero point with nature’s timing is an exquisite, sacred experience.

Much of what I read these days is that answers to our challenges are found through self-love. Listening to, and heeding, the needs of our precious human bodies, is to me, ultimate expression of self-love. In Sacred Heart living, listening for what the body needs is high priority.

For those new to this sacred timing, I am in the process of developing online training for recognizing and honouring these sacred cycle alignments. I anticipate these products to be ready on or before Spring, 2017.

Those who have taken my personal lunar cycle classes know this timing and I welcome your sharing on the value of this timing in your life. Please add your comments in the comments section below!

The Deep Octave of No Thought

This past week I drove 16 hours, alone and in one day, with monster clouds at the dark end of the drive. The next day, I had my Dark Moon in the Personal Lunar Cycle. The Dark Moon in both Personal and Collective Lunar Cycles is like no gas in the tank. We empty out; this is the ebb before the flow at the start of the next cycle.

On these days last week, I was tired to the point of speechlessness; an eviscerating stripping of all that was nonessential. In the midst of that tiredness was the absence of thought. I was too tired to think!

In these writings I often mention that with the shift to 5D we operate from sensate experience rather than through the thought plane of 3D. While I have practiced this new way quite a lot, I have not ever experienced the complete and surrounding absence of thought as I did last week.

This experience brought me to a deeper octave of “no thought.” Trying to articulate the experience is challenging, because the experience is beyond words. There was a calmness, a penetrating stillness and safety with it that I noticed, loved and appreciated.

Despite being in the midst of a transcontinental move, and the packing and saying goodbyes and hellos associated with this move, and baseline life with work and laundry, cooking and cleaning, there was nothing to think about; energy was applied to being; to breathing and feeling physicality in a simplified, atmospherically reverberating way. (Animate in a Living, Loving, Responsive Field.)

I want more of this deep octave of no thought. It was warm and comforting with a pervasive sense of presence in All is Well.

In this New Field of the 5th Dimension and beyond, we are informed in each moment. Thinking short-circuits present moment awareness. Thought takes away possibilities, received through sensate knowing and intuition. Yes, this is a whole new way of being.

This past week I had a deep and direct experience of freedom from thought. One metaphoric description might be “Heaven on Earth.” In my direct experience, it is a whole new dimension of presence and it is awesome.

Have you considered practicing absence of thought? It is one  way of opening to living in the present moment. A great, international teacher on this topic is Eckhart Tolle. He has books, a website and many YouTube videos with which to start your practice, if you are interested.

I welcome questions and comments about your experience releasing thought as a main access to life. I am available as a teacher and companion guide if you would like assist on this courageous journey.

In & Out Rhythms of Natural Time

It is the end of January and Lake Superior is not yet frozen. Yesterday, with the temperature in the mid 20s, I was sitting in the warmth of my car, communing with the Lake. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a kayaker paddling up the coastline. My first thought was that it must be freezing to be so close to the water like that. Then, I settled into watching the rhythm of this lone kayaker as he paddled his way through the waters. Observing the right, left, in, out, unceasing rhythm of his stabilizing paddling was meditative.

Watching him in his rhythmic process, it came to me that the ebbs and flows of natural time are like this, too; just like the breath, just like paddling a kayak, the repeating in and out rhythm of life.

A recent change I made relates to the in and out rhythm of the meridian time table. People who work with the meridians share that organs and systems of the body have a two-hour time frame where the work of that organ takes center stage. If you google “meridian time chart,” you will find options of charts to review. Some of the organs are regarded as yin, others are yang and this gives us the in and out, ebb and flow of the rhythmic, coordinated collaboration of the hard working organs of our physical bodies.

My Qigong teacher devoted recent classes to issues of sleep. In one of these classes, he shared how the gall bladder has its process of detoxifying release during the hours of 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM. While he did not say this, I somehow got, perhaps by osmosis, that the optimal time to go to sleep is11:00 PM, so that the gall bladder can have a chance for optimal functioning.

The gall bladder is an important organ for clearing emotional debris and this organ is associated with peace of mind. I have been going to sleep at 11:00 PM for a couple of weeks now and I do experience benefit in my life from this change.

Prior to making this choice of eyes closed, all devices off by 11:00 PM, my bed time was unstructured. Rarely was it was before 1:00 or 2:00 AM.

While I did not see it before, I do feel a connection now between maintaining a structure around sleep time and living with natural time. Before, I was free flowing with the time that I went to sleep, in keeping with the fluidity I feel, in general, living with natural time. The body is key and as I have written before, the timing of the moon through the personal and collective lunar cycles and void of course moon times can be experienced viscerally.

What is different for me now, though, is that I am integrating a rhythm that has been used in parts of the world for over 5000 years, the meridian time table with its cyclic workflow of our organs.

Structure is good; I like working with a set time for sleep. I find that going to sleep at 11:00 PM helps me focus the waking hours I do have in a more respectful way.

How about you? Do you work with a structured sleep time and how does that relate to your well-being?
