How Do You Feel When You Have a Synchronous Event?

Lately, I have had amazing experiences of synchronicity. It is not so much what happened, rather, how I felt when the synchronous experiences occurred. The visceral experience is one of feeling connected and cared for; alive within an active feedback loop with the Universe.

We go through life conscious of our wishes, wants, desires, longings. We express them through spoken or written word, through feelings and visualizations. We express them through prayer, ritual and action.

Synchronicity involves a connective experience of inner longing with outer manifestation. With synchronicity, a version of our longing shows up in materialized form and in Divine timing. Many readers of this blog know Time as an inner experience. Our ancestors knew and lived this, too. Synchronous experiences, major and minor, are experiences of majical, alive or Divine Timing. This kind of timing reveals the recognition of Self and Universe as connected. Staying receptive to synchronicity is really living in a time-free zone – anything can happen, at anytime, so we stay open to the experience that All is Possible.

It can take a shift in consciousness to receive synchronous events. For the past 2000 years, at least, we have been conditioned to exert effort.  In this New Time of the 5th Dimension, of which increased synchronicity is a part, effort is replaced by presence.

Since  writing the blog post on stopping thinking, I have been noticing when my thoughts go to future.  As soon as I notice this, I bring awareness back to the present. It seems this practice might have something to do with the increase in synchronous events I have been receiving lately.

Synchronicity is also connected with intuition because one has to know, and choose, when and where to place one’s self in order to align with the synchronous event.

Releasing attachment to outcome also helps increase the experience of synchronicity. Acceptance is much easier when we receive what is offered without judging it. “This or something better” we ask, and the Universe delivers.

One major change in the shift to 5th Dimension Consciousness is the direct experience that we are not alone.  We are in a collaborative, co-creative experience with the morphic Field of all and within a living, loving, responsive Universe.

We are no longer isolated, cut off lone wolves. We are communal, part of, we belong. This is a major shift, especially, for those of us in the United States, as our country was founded on a frontier experience of survival and independence. We are Global now, and Cosmically interactive. We always were; now we have more awareness of it.

Synchronicity is important. It is part of the new 5th Dimension experience, it is part of living in the present moment, it is part of intuition, wise listening, and it is part of belonging.

Deepak Chopra writes about synchronicity this way:

According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don’t bother you anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous. It is Time to Choose

We are at a critical point in the shared story of our lives.  The election has happened, and like Brexit in England, many were shocked by the results of the American process.

What has happened since then is that people are gathering together in committed ways. This is a time, like other pivotal times in history, when empowered people come together, collectively.

One example of this is the Women’s March scheduled for the day after the inauguration. In support of protected rights for all, women are marching in Washington, D C, and other cities throughout the United States, in a grassroots movement of solidarity, advocacy and resistance.

That is one path to action. There are other paths, as well.

On November 8, 2016, a day after the US election, Kara Schallock, a wise woman whose work I respect, admire and follow, posted this on her Face Book page, Ascension: The New:

“Where are you still playing in duality? It takes deeply looking at yourself, your thoughts and actions to see. For instance, if you vote, you are playing in duality. If you judge yourself or another or a group, you are playing in duality. When you play in duality, you keep it strong; you delay Unity Consciousness.

The Truth of you is Love; there is no duality in Love. Yes, we are all in different phases of consciousness and as we become more aware, we see where we play in the much alive game of duality; of separation; and where we refuse to play and choose Love instead. Duality is all around us, so it’s quite easy to get sucked into what “everyone” else is doing. It takes Courage to stand in your Truth…who you say you are. You may be ostracized, ridiculed and pushed away. Yet, Ascension calls for us to stand in our Truth bravely. Ascension certainly isn’t about being a follower or being popular.

If you complain about a system, you add to the duality. Let us be more and let us be strong and courageous and willing to move just a bit higher than where we are right now.”

And then the other day, on my Facebook feed, came this informative article by Danielle Egnew, a psychic whose work is new to me. In the article, Danielle Egnew shares why she is not talking about the President-Elect.

Both women appear to be choosing the path of maintaining a vibrational frequency that resonates above the Third-Dimension story now.

Which is yours to do now? Is yours a role of activism, speaking out, standing together, becoming politically active through spreading the word to others, making calls to elected officials, organizing? Is your role now one of vibrating with a frequency that resonates above the 3D story? Perhaps your role is a combination of the two or something else altogether? In this quantum consciousness shift to the New Field, one world is dying and needs hospice care and the new world is birthing and needs midwifery care. Which is your path now? We are each called on, as human beings central to this quantum shift in consciousness, to stake and claim our own path at this critical time.  Everyone’s  path is unique and there are evolutionary stretches involved with each path.

Those who are activists, helping the old way dissolve, must accommodate family, work and personal time to march and walk with others, to raise their voices in harmonic frequency with hundreds of thousands of other women.

Those who are helping birth the New are focusing on the higher frequency vibrations and must go deep in following an inner truth that might also be a lonely path now.

There is no one right way; every way is valid if it is your truth.

Intuition informs you of your path. Ask, listen, and request support.  Please say yes. NOW is the time to Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning.

What do you do when your only viable recourse is to stop thinking?

The other day I was forced out of thinking. I have written before about being too tired to think, however, on this recent day, external pressures mounted and my only viable recourse was to stop thinking.

Cessation of thought sinks us into present moment. As I prepared to embrace the day, I was aware of no thought and of centering through the Central Channel, that core column within that pulls up from the Earth, through the center of the body, out through the crown and into the infinite sky.  I was aware of being surrounded by a protective energy field, as if I was inside a shield of protection, a Merkabah.

I was acutely aware of being companioned by Present Moment on my right and Intuition on my left, sustained through my core and surrounded by the 10 directions, above, below, all around and within. I was ready, willing and free to breathe the unknown.

We have repeatedly heard the words, “We are Not Alone, We are One, We are Part of, We Belong.” Living this knowing is the New Now and thought restricts direct experience of this harmonic wholeness. Thought takes us out of present moment and into past or future. Past and future do not pulsate with Life, Now does.

In 5th Dimension consciousness, we weave through life as aware, resourced beings with spontaneous access to information. We meet each fresh moment and know what to do by breathing in the Now.

We are well-served to support ourselves in the New Now with practices of quiet, silence, meditation, reflection, journaling and creating. The action of creating builds the experience of confidence in not knowing. How many times have you created something and were surprised and astonished at what came into form? We’ve got this!

We are also well served by proper nutrition, adequate sleep, time in Nature, declining to overwork, and intimate and community relationships with humans and animals whom we love and trust.

We are especially well-served by movement, exercise or walks in nature and, particularly, ancient movement practices that have thousands of years’ experience working with energy flow – practices like qi gong, tai chi, yoga, sacred dance.

We have the chance, now, to replace thinking through and processing every encounter, every day, every obstacle, with a repertoire of self-care options that source us intuitively. These self-care options are called practices, because as we do them every day, we gain depth experience in inner wisdom. Inner wisdom is our main go-to in this time of not-knowing. Inner wisdom is the solid gold of self-love.

These practices of supreme self-care – movement, creativity, nature, nutrition, sleep, intimacy and community – build resilience that radiates through us and opens access to multidimensional consciousness. Life opens to us as we open to Life. This is 5D living, Now.

Non Linear Living, Now!

The irony brings on a belly laugh.

One year ago, I wrote a blog post about no longer using reminder lists. I had been in the process of not making lists for three years  by the time I wrote that post. Now, one year later, a stubborn mindset wants to revisit the issue. Habits die hard and the mind continues to think it knows best.

In this season of shift, multiple streams call for attention. The imperative to choose is forceful and the mind gets scared that it cannot keep up, or choose well. Within this heart pounding experience, I considered returning to making lists.

Ah, the pain of it.  Feeling frantic and not resourceful, the mind tries to revert to old ways. Whether to make a list or not might read trivial and inconsequential; however, my direct experience of this choice point is that it is crucial.

Making a list harms me because it takes me out of the wave particle flow of life and back into linear confinement of self within time and space. It is challenging to be in the new 5D, multidimensional experience. We have been living in the 3rd Dimensional Consciousness for thousands of years and the old ways of how we got by are deeply ingrained in thoughts, experiences and programmed responses.

This new way is open and there are no teachers or guides or safety nets other than our own deep, true inner knowing.  3D consciousness might not know what is going on, however, our multidimensional consciousness, informed through sensate experiences within a living, informing Field, does know and offers guidance and direction out of fear and into Light.

I came very close to writing a list before my consciousness floated in with awareness that making a list is a linear way and, right now, that does not represent optimal functioning in this new multidimensional consciousness.

In this new way, all is possible, in any moment. Making a list inhibits all possibility, because we limit our focus to the way our minds outlined. I am talking about all lists, from grocery lists to work to-do lists to life goal lists.

Yes, we still identify and name what we want, however, we do not limit it. “This or something better” is a helpful phrase to add on to anything we have identified that we want.  That phrase keeps it open to all possibility and honours the mechanics of us working with a knowing, loving Living Field of co-creation.

What is the worst that can happen if you forget to buy something from the grocery store because you did not use a list?  Maybe another trip back to the store at another time and who knows the connection that can happen when you make that second trip?

People with symptoms of memory loss do need to employ lists. We use all that we can to help ourselves.  Yet, others, who rely on lists, out of habit in contrast to need, might be surprised by the freedom that comes from not using lists.

To live free of lists requires trust in one’s self. It requires trust in a living Universe, or Spirit, or Field, whatever the name. It requires trust in one’s self within this living Field.

And that is the difference, in this new time we are aware that we are connected, vitally to our own Knowing, to our informing Cosmos, and to the morphic Field of living intelligence and all that is animate – humans, animals, plants, flowers, trees, crystals, rocks, stones, stars, rainbows, clouds, waters, fire, earth, winds.

All that has life has intelligence and communicates through this pulsing living Field in which we anchor ourselves.  The upright, steadfast anchoring of past has become a swirling, open, fluid, colourful anchoring filled with surprise, support and fulfillment.

Living a linear life will not get us the fulfillment our hearts and souls want. The past is gone. We are free-floating within all possibility now and making a list restricts the full capacity of listening, feeling, choosing within each fresh moment.

The Full Moon’s Secret

I have worked with the Full Moon in many ways, including dancing in wild celebration with a group, on a beach with a campfire; in meditative circles where we plundered in to feel the one root beneath all duality; in women’s talking and drumming circles, in a plaintive, lamenting wail for Sacred Union; immersed in cozy blankets, a steaming cup of herbal tea and books of poetry, Rumi, David Whyte, Mary Oliver.

My current, favorite way to work with our beloved, Sacred, Beaming Full Moon Light is to recognize its primal role as turning point between the in/out rhythm of life.  There is an in and out phase to everything, from our birth to our death, from our night to our day, from each in breath to each out breath.  These cycles, and so many more, have a cyclic span determined by the breadth of their circumference; some cycles are wider, and therefore, take longer, than other circles. The rhythmic pattern of a cycle, though, one half activity and the other half rest, is always the same.

The more complex our world gets; the more the basics help stabilize. That is why I go back, eons, perhaps, to remember, acknowledge and feel this simple in/out rhythm that our Moon models for us each month.  From New to Full Moon we are in active mode.  From Full to the end of the cycle, the Balsamic Moon, we are in rest mode.

Perhaps you are thinking, “Ridiculous, who could live like this?” Please consider that this is how our planet lives.  This is how our planet lives in relation to its place in the cosmos. This is how our Moon has modeled timing for us since the beginning of human life on earth. This is how our bodies live, whether we bring consciousness to this rhythm or not.

Yes, we are in a modern world that lives by 24/7 access to everything that we want.  However, our Moon mirrors this secret – the repeating pattern of activity and rest inherent in all the cycles, and cycles are the nature of life.

It is my operating premise that when we align with this core rhythm, as reflected by the fluid flow of Moon Light, we help ourselves root within the sustaining rhythm of life. To me, this is the ultimate in self-care, to feel and align our rhythmic body with the rhythmic body of cosmos, in sync and on time.

We have come a long way from consciously aligning with this core rhythm.  Some of us, perhaps you, and me, do live this alignment because not doing so throws us off kilter, spinning with no reliable tether.  The Moon and her fluid flow of Light does anchor us in the cyclic pattern of being, releasing and becoming.

What this means in practical terms is that you start recognizing, within your body, the surging build energy from New to Full Moon, and the dissipating, dissolving energy in the last half of the Moon’s cycle. We gather and build in the first half and reflect, process, disseminate and integrate in the last half.

Once we readmit this basic rhythm into sensate awareness, our body, our Divine Intelligence, our Intuition, our activated link with a living, loving Cosmic Field, guides us to next steps.

Intuition and Mercury Retrograde

It is that time again, when Mercury turns retrograde.  This is a natural cycle, however, not one we feel as a visceral experience, like we do with the Moon’s cycles. Mercury works with a mental, in contrast to physical, dynamic.

The natural element Mercury is reflective, conductive, liquid metal and has roots in alchemy. The planet Mercury has similar attributes. It is known as the Trickster, and governs communication, technology and things mechanical.

Mercury goes retrograde three times a year. While the actual retrograde motion time is three weeks, a full Mercury retrograde period, with pre-and post tracks, usually lasts eight weeks. During these times, there can be delays, miscommunications, confusions as well as opportunities to complete things that were started long ago. This is also a time when we might find ourselves connecting with people with whom we have lost touch.

For those in business, such as real estate, or sales of any kind, it is helpful to know the Mercury retrograde pattern. This is because there can be delays and snafus and it is helpful not to take seeming obstacles personally.  It is so much better when we have an understanding that things like delays might happen, due to a cosmic cycle.  This information is helpful for anyone trying to communicate a business deal or personal communication of importance.

Mercury retrograde has very bad press in the mainstream media.  It is a natural cycle, one that occurs frequently, and it has value for us. One value is that it slows us down.  Sometimes the delays gifted by Mercury retrograde take a lot of time and attention. I remember one technical computer glitch that took me a month to resolve.  Another example comes from a woman I knew who was waiting to hear about a work contract. She could not understand the delay. I shared Mercury Retrograde information with her and she reported back that as soon as that period of Mercury retrograde passed, she was awarded the contract.

Here are the dates: Mercury went into its shadow period on December 1, 2016 and is in the shadow stage until the planet goes retrograde on December 19, 2016.  Mercury stays retrograde for three weeks, until January 8, 2017. A post-retrograde period is in effect from January 9th until January 27, 2017 when the planet crosses its station. This means that Mercury is crossing the astrological degree where it turned retrograde December 19, 2016.

The shadow period, pre-the exact Mercury retrograde pivot, relates to the degree when Mercury turns direct, on January 8, 2017; this is like a precursor to the road traveled before the actual retrograde motion and once again while Mercury is retrograde. If this is heady, please just consider that Mercury retrograde offers a time to review actions and maybe, repeat steps.

Each Mercury retrograde period is unique unto itself because it travels a different section of the zodiac each Mercury retrograde period.  If someone has connection through her natal chart with the degrees of a specific Mercury retrograde period, the effects can be more intense.

The standard counsel during retrograde Mercury times are to complete unfinished projects, be open to old friends popping up, and perhaps, avoid making major purchases like buying a house or a car or a new computer.

If a Mercury retrograde cycle becomes intense for you, please relax into the experience and ask for any teaching that is being offered to surface from unconscious to consciousness.

Intuition can be a match for the quicksilver nature of Mercury. With intuition, you are operating from the field of seen and unseen energies, beyond mind.

More frequent check-ins with inner asking could possibly help circumvent Mercury retrograde challenges. Checking into the energy field within and around you, sensing all levels and dimensions before acting, or reacting, can only help. A daily prayer of intention for effortless ease might also help.

Pivotal Mid Season Dates, November 5 – 7, 2016

It seems like yesterday that I wrote about shifting into Fall Season 2016. Now, we are at the midseason point, moving from Fall toward Winter. Mid season shifts are of value from a natural time, rhythmic living perspective. One of the value-added gifts is on the subtle energy plane. Our bodies are at a midseason point, turning from Fall, which is dry to cold, toward Winter, which is cold to wet. Those who work with Eastern medicine, like Acupuncture, might recognize this language.

Hippocrates, the Father of Modern Medicine developed this health theory, more simply known as body humours. Notice the breakdown of the word hum   ours!  Rudolph Steiner related the humours to temperament.  Our healthcare systems have deep roots within this knowledge.

Let’s consider how these humoural shifts affect us in 2016 when climate change produces 80 degree temperatures in November in mid-latitude regions of the Central United States. What are your thoughts on this?

Personally, I do not know. What is most true for me in this questioning is that we are still turning.  We are still in midseason shift, based on the movement of our home body within our home galaxy.

A value in noting seasonal shifts is that we are prepared. This awareness loosens us from stuck points, from resisting the unseen, often unfelt fluid motion of our lives.  Pagan traditions honor midseason with conscious awareness of shifting change and rituals of celebration, gratitude and the giving and requesting of blessings.

As we co-create our future within each present moment, collective recognition of the midseason shift is helpful. It lifts delusion of stasis and opens us to the experience of flow, and the direct experience of the release and renewal mechanisms of change.

There is another pivotal moment during midseason turning that occurs one day before the exact midseason turning point. This other cyclic turning involves the midpoint between our Galactic Center and our Super Galactic Center in direct contact with the point where our Earth connects with our Sun.

The Galactic Astrologer, Philip Sedgwick, points out that this pivotal moment for us is a powerful time for making intentions. Our human hearts have direct access to the alignment of our Sun, the Galactic Center and the Super Galactic Center.  The world is ours. Take it. Observe that we are shifting in this midseason and that there is a direct connection in this sacred time for linking our deepest, purest heart’s desire with a listening cosmos.

The most potent days for meditating, requesting, visioning, intentioning, for consciously being with this potent mid season cosmic alignment are the 5th through the 7th of November 2016.

Sacred Timing

When our Moon empties out at the end of a cycle, there is no light in the night sky. Correspondingly, during dark Moon times, our own light turns inward, in sync with a gravitational pull to slow down and be still.  This inward pull to stillness, to being with our deep selves, occurs twice each month. Once with the Collective Lunar Cycle, and once with the Personal Lunar cycle.

Both cycles, the personal and the collective, have the same rhythmic pattern; it is the start days that vary. The Collective Lunar Cycle starts with the New Moon, and the Personal Lunar Cycle starts with the phase of the Moon in which you are born. The Dark Moon, this inward pull to quiet receptivity, occurs three days before the New Moon in both the personal and collective cycles.

A Dark Moon in the collective cycle is occurring as I post this blog article.  The New Moon occurs Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1:39 PM Eastern Daylight Time. This means that the Collective Dark Moon starts Thursday, October 27, 2016, in the afternoon in US Eastern time zone.  The inward pull toward quiet refection begins on Thursday and continues through the weekend, until the New Moon.  Within a day after the New Moon, we start to feel the upward energy surge again.

Not everyone feels this timing. It can start with a nudge, a pull toward stillness, reflection, rest, quiet. If you sense any of this, please open the invitation. The more we align with natural, cyclic timing, the more the experience becomes familiar to us. Like all new skill sets, when we pay attention, we open receptor pathways of the original blueprints that our bodies are timers.

The Personal Lunar Cycle is the other cycle with this rhythmic pattern of slowing down, release and renewal. I just had my Personal Dark Moon; It started late Friday, October 21, 2016, continued through Saturday, all day Sunday and ended with my Personal New Moon, Monday morning, October 24, 2016 in the 8 o’clock hour.

I anticipate the personal dark Moon phase as a sacred holiday. This is a time when I honour the whole of my life in synchronized flow with our living Universe. For us, on Earth, flow means the Moon is involved.

I have been aligning with this sacred timing since 1993.  For 95% of this time, I have planned and scheduled around this pivotal timing. I have minimized commitments, laid low, and observed sensate release and regeneration typical of cyclic endings and beginnings.

Seven years ago, I took a nursing job on a per diem basis, even though I worked fulltime. I choose to forego benefits like paid time off so that  I could control my schedule and not have to work on low energy Personal Dark Moon days.  There is predictive value in knowing this rhythm, and I used it for self-care and well-being, and to optimize the potent receptivity (intuition, inner knowing, coming to center) inherent during Dark Moon times.

This past Personal Lunar Cycle, though, I was under deadline for a high-pressured, freelance writing assignment and I had to work through the low energy time. Eliminating distractions, cancelling social plans and staying focused on the writing task, I did muster the stamina to complete the task. It took all that I had, energetically and emotionally.

The carrot at the end of the stick was that I knew the Moon was void of course all day on Monday, enhancing my ability to rest post project. My schedule was clear and I gave myself a do-nothing day. It was calm, sweet, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and restorative.

On Tuesday, I was aware of still needing a little slower down time and I eased into the day with that awareness, of being kind with myself.

I have been through enough of these Personal Lunar Cycle turnings to know that if I do not stop and be still during this precious, sacred time, a depression, an irritability, an out of sorts experience shows up.  It is the beast in nature; if we do not feed the beast what it needs, in this case rest and quiet, it roars in ugliness.

I did not get the stillness that I needed during my Personal Dark Moon, however, I knew enough to not continue forward before taking deep rest. I was a little off schedule, however, I still gave myself the self-care and stillness that I needed.

Our bodies need these rest and reset times daily, twice within the Lunar Cycle, one Personal, one Collective, and yearly, right before our birthday, with our Solar Return.

I want to shout from the rooftop, I want to play the trumpet and bang the cymbals, I want to sing an operatic High C to let people know about these natural cycle turnings, these pivot times of stop and restart. Coming to zero point with nature’s timing is an exquisite, sacred experience.

Much of what I read these days is that answers to our challenges are found through self-love. Listening to, and heeding, the needs of our precious human bodies, is to me, ultimate expression of self-love. In Sacred Heart living, listening for what the body needs is high priority.

Living Yes

Relaxing into co-creation is part of the transformative shift that we are in now, as we transition from life in 3D to life in 5D. One of the most significant changes with this shift is that we respond to personal triggers with measured choice rather than reactive impulsivity.

This change is possible because we can now, consciously, come from a place of trust within ourselves, our Souls, and in living connection with a loving Universe. Please feel these words at the heart level; feel exactly what it means to trust in yourself and your Soul and your living connection with a loving Universe. Feel what it means to be part of, to belong, rather than feeling alienated and alone.

Life in 3D was based on comparing and competition; we could not ever be good enough. In 5D we are more than enough, we ARE part of and we belong.

Here is an example of how this shift showed up for me: Sunday’s extended Void of Course Moon impacted me to the extent that I had to go home and rest, rather than stay out and shop for groceries, even though I was close to the shops I frequent.

On Monday, rested and ready, I went back out into the world, for grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and our wonderful Kroger’s. There was also a trip to Michaels on the day’s itinerary. I had an extended block of time to enjoy these errands and did not feel rushed.

For optimal efficiency, my first stop was Michaels and then a nearby Kroger’s.  On my way, I passed by my favorite coffee shop, Coffee Emporium in Hyde Park, Cincinnati, Ohio.  I am not a café person; unless meeting a friend, I do not take time to stop, sit and enjoy a cup of tea.  This day, however, stopping for a relaxing cup of tea was the number one option before me, almost an imperative. The self-talk was that if I want a more relaxed life, I have to take more relaxing opportunities.

Parking was difficult; I did not have change for meters and the non-paying spots were taken.  It took two trips around the area and then I found a space and pulled in. I was determined to take this action step toward a more relaxed life and the start button said “Now.” The obstacle of difficult parking could not deflect me.

On the short walk to the café, I encountered this:

My heart leaps with nature’s surprise gifts, like this this beautiful, furry creature crossing my path. I got tea and found a cozy place to sit outdoors. Once settled, I reflected on the meaning of the appearance of this beautiful, wooly brown caterpillar. I understood the message to be about abundance and beauty, its colour was magnificent and it radiated life with its determined crawl. I also knew that this sighting spoke to change and transformation.

In this cozy outdoor setting, sipping hot tea and with the ambiance of relaxation all around me, I thanked this creature for its visit, and started researching on my phone the metaphysical meaning of brown wooly caterpillar. I let the meanings sink in, accepting the ones that had relevance. Soaking in the significance of this caterpillar’s visit, I relaxed more deeply, breathing in the chill fall air, savouring the nature that surrounded me and absorbing the quiet slowness of this outdoor café.

I learned through the research that brown wooly caterpillars can take up to 14 years to transform. Reflecting on this rather long timeline, a shaft of light broke through my consciousness, an opening awareness that I am on track with my own transformation, too. Slow, steady, consistent, always saying yes when the invitation comes to transform more wholly into my new life: relaxed, co-creative, expressively creative, grounded in trust, belonging, embodied empowerment, money materializing, and soulfully connected with others, with Nature, with Life.

Relaxation is key to our new lives as conscious co-creators. Our nervous systems have to be in neutral, not stuck in fight/flight or freeze responses, not in reactionary mode. We have to be with the expanded, interactive vibrancy that is all around us. When this relaxed synchronization happens, we can sense, see, feel, listen, receive and say Yes to incoming communication from the Living, Loving Field. We can open to the wholeness of our new Lives in this New Time by doing things differently, by changing habits, by opening to more fulfilling ways to fuse with Life.

Seasonal Shifts

On subtle energy levels, the shift from summer to fall is from hot and dry to dry and cold. This information has been passed down to us from long ago ancestors who lived this knowing. Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Ayurveda, and the foundation of modern western medicine, the study and practice of herbs, are based on awareness of subtle energy shifts within seasonal changes.

Each season has three parts, a beginning, middle and end. These three distinct parts relate to the Sun’s movement through the three signs of the zodiac within a season. For Fall, this is Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius.

Each of these parts relate to the three basic modus operandi of universal energy principles recognized by indigenous peoples and sacred teachings throughout most world systems. The beginning of a season is just that, an initiating time. The middle part of the season is a holding time, giving what was newly initiated the time and structure to gel and then be dissolved again, the ebb and flow of life, within the third part of a season.

This Fall

On Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10:22 AM, Eastern Standard Time, we “officially” move into the Fall Season in the Northern Hemisphere. This time marking is based on when our Sun moves into the zodiac sign of Libra, according to some systems of the zodiac.

For the past several weeks, in the Northern Hemisphere, we have been feeling this dismantling of the summer season as, in the last part of summer, we moved from dry toward cold.  We see this shift in the form of a little chill in the air, a look toward bringing out warmer clothing and a tendency toward food and drink that is more sustaining than summer fare.

To bring conscious awareness to what happens on these subtle energy levels helps us support our bodies, a most important asset as we move through the greater shift to the 5th Dimension.  Our bodies are our knowing tools now. How we feel, what we sense through felt experience and intuitive awakenings, helps us navigate the territory of not knowing, which seems to be everywhere now.

Body

Notice, and acknowledge, how your body wants to move in this new seasonal shift. Are you nudged toward a different kind of exercise or exercising at a different time of day; are your sleep patterns shifting?

Mind

We moved through late Summer discerning, separating wheat from chaff. We are left with what we want to keep. Part of this new season relates to Harmony and Beauty.  How are we bringing both of these essential energies into our lives now? Are we bringing our minds home to what is essential to us, or are we still allowing ourselves to be distracted by nonessentials?

Spirit

The cycles keep turning and with each turn we can spiral to a higher vibrational frequency. On a core level, the shift from summer to fall involves transition from active phase to contemplative phase. What have we learned through this Solar Year so far, since last Winter Solstice? How are we preparing ourselves for the end of the Solar Year? We have one season left, this fall season, before the next Solar Year starts with the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2016.

Goal setting can be tricky, however, it does help to acknowledge what we want and how we are contributing to or inhibiting that reach. In its essence, the Fall season is about Harmony, Power and Freedom. If these words feel too broad, notice how you instinctively shift with each of the three parts of this Fall Season.  Feel the shifts! Dates are September 21, October 22 and November 21.
