Resolving the Pain of Self-Abandonment

Summerfair is a juried art show that occurs the first weekend in June on the banks of the Ohio River, here in Cincinnati. This is an art event I look forward to every year.  The Sun shines high, vibrant colours abound and crowds of people explore the art, curious and happy.

The day I attended Summerfair this year was a perfect weather day, and I was delighted to enjoy the experience with my sister. I find that contemplating the paintings, woodwork, metal work, jewelry, fiber arts, feeds my Soul. After my sister and I bought bold, fun summer wear from one of the vendors, we stopped to eat lunch on a bench in the shade, overlooking the muddy brown Ohio River. The essence of this River has imprinted my Soul since childhood.

After lunch, I checked my phone and found an email message confirming an apartment viewing appointment at 3:30 PM that day. And here is where I lost it. Rather than stop, tune in and discern a choice between seeing that apartment or enjoying the rest of the fair, I lost presence and did not even consider that there was a choice. Sheepishly, I went to look at the apartment.

I only recognized that there was a choice when we arrived at the apartment parking lot and saw how dismal the place was. I did not even go in to view the apartment.

The refrain “Wouda, coulda, shoulda,” played in my mind. The rental price was a giveaway, had I consciously assessed the offering. The price was far enough off to indicate that it was a no, even before I said yes to the appointment. If I had the presence of mind to realize a choice was at stake, I could have declined the appointment and stayed at the fair. Instead, I flowed listlessly, like a log on the River, wasting time and effort. In consequence, I suffered the loss of feeling incomplete with this year’s Summerfair.

Michele Mayama taught a technique where you check in with your’s Soul’s wisdom by asking a question and then feeling through the soles of the feet if there is life related to what is asked, or not. I have used these technique for years and find it to be reliable. A yes answer had a response of upward surging, a no answer is flat and when our Soul or Body  wants no part of what is being asked about, there is a downward pull, like a repulsed response: a definite no.  Had I even stopped to ask if there was life for me in going to view the apartment, the response, I am sure, would have been no.

Instead, I was left with a deflated feeling of loss, discomfort and dissonance. I was upset because I lost presence and did not discern choice about something that held value for me.

I had obsessive thoughts about what I missed by leaving the fair early.  It was a challenge to let that go.  Four times I asked, through my feet, if there was life for me in going back to the Fair on Sunday, to capture what I missed seeing on Saturday. Every time I received a flat-out NO.

A few days later, a friend shared a Jeff Brown quote and a phrase from that quote resonated like cathedral bells: “The more embedded our methods of self-distraction, the more agitating the truth-aches calling us back to authenticity.” Truth-ache, this was the pain of it; I abandoned myself and had acute truth-ache because of it.

Moving through the loss associated with missing a sizable portion of this year’s fair brought flashes of what it might be like on the deathbed. I can imagine one might say, think or feel, “Oh, no I am not ready to leave, I did not get to see everything or have all the experiences I wanted to have.”

Interestingly, on my Facebook feed that day, someone posted a quote from Rumi: “At the moment of our death we wake up laughing.” This quote lit me up!

I have heard that the Dalia Lama works on his own death a little every day. I am not sure what he does, however, I imagine preparing for ease at death might involve practice with letting go, feeling loss, more letting go and opening to the infinite, unconditioned possibilities of Presence with each moment.

Every truth-ache has a learning where we go beyond the pain and sense the underlying need. For me, in this Summerfair experience, the identified needs are to not abandon myself, to stay present, and to feed my Soul more art.

I am returning to Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way’s practice of  weekly cultural dates with myself. I am checking local listings for art fairs and cultural events. I am slow stopping to consider that each moment holds choice. When I die, I want to be full up and ready, not a moment of this precious life wasted through abandoning Presence, and choice.

A Tale of the Freeing Experience of Nonlinear Time

I have had challenges accessing Pandora in my car lately. Sometimes the Bluetooth channel will play Pandora, and sometimes even that does not work. I stopped listening to NPR news before the 2016 election. While silence is my general preference, there are times that I enjoy listening to jazz while driving.

Twice now, when Pandora did not work, I clicked on the Bluetooth tab, and no jazz plays from there, either. What comes on is a U2 album. This is a track from an actual album, not Pandora. There is a USB port in my car, however, no flash drive is plugged into it. I have not ever purchased or downloaded music from U2 and have no idea where this is coming from. I click the fast forward button on the car’s touch screen and a mp3 recording of a channeled session that I had saved years ago starts playing.

Curious to revisit these teachings, I stay with it. The channeled session comes from 2012, it seems, and is a session of Michele Mayama channeling Mary Magdalene.

In this session, Mary Magdalene responds to a participant’s question about intuition. While I missed these words when the session was live, I heard them the other day. Mary Magdalene said that intuition comes from a limited perspective. She talked about everyone’s birthright to full consciousness — to know the whole and the full. In any given moment. She shared that intuition is a small facet of full capacity consciousness.

This full awareness is what multidimensional consciousness offers. Through all of our being, particularly, sensate experiences, we can see, feel, hear, access the whole picture.

What a liberating way to regard consciousness. This full spectrum approach upgrades intuition from a facet glimpse to a nonlinear experience of multidimensional presence

These higher dimensions are real. Our highest wisdom recognizes them as a felt experience, even if we cannot name it.  When we claim our higher dimensional home, we claim more parts of our power. We raise our capacity and we see more, touch more, feel more, know more. In a recent post on Soulstice Rising, Ascension Notes, Kara Schallock writes that human beings are bringing these higher dimensions in as a grid formation that is the New Earth.

In multidimensional consciousness, time is non-linear.  This means that information from years ago, can pop up on your radar, or radio like it did for me, or some flash of future can come into consciousness as real and alive and accessible.

Notice how experiences of nonlinear time show up for you. We can pay attention as these experiences happen. Notice how only the present is real, and stay there, with each new moment. Release regret, longing, fear, shame, blame, guilt. Present moment aligns our multidimensional consciousness with Deep Earth, and High Heaven, and stretches us out to full surround.

Being conscious of the present allows us to feel, know and choose next steps. Let go of the  plotted line for life experience, the linear time frame that goes from here to there to there. In its place, allow the swirling spiral of Now, with its fulcrum in multidimensional consciousness, to anchor you. Allow your Soul and the Universe to unfold You.

Please share your experiences with the release of linear time in the comments section.

Opening to Receive: 5 Tips to Get to Yes

When someone compliments you,  do you accept, wide open, with no questioning? Or, do pre-conditioned responses of resistance come into play? Are you even keel with giving and receiving, or are you always  giving?  Life within a  responsive Universe requires that we live in dynamic equilibrium with both  giving and receiving.

In last week’s post, I wrote how the split between body and mind is lessening and use of intuition is increasing. For these great changes to happen though, we must be open to receive. Issues of false pride and subscribing to hierarchy are no longer functional. In hierarchy’s place is awareness of our own supreme sovereignty. That message, delivered Ages ago, the Kingdom of Heaven is Within” reflects present reality.

As I wrote last week, we are moving toward the direct experience of Oneness. Going through life blocking the reality that we are part of, that we belong, results in tremendous waste and keeps us from receiving what is ours to receive.

If receiving remains a challenge, here are five suggestions to consider for opening to the wild, raw, living current of Life that says Yes.

  1. Consider that being closed to receiving is an adaptive response. Notice how a baby responds to a face reflecting unconditional love: there is joy, delight, openness, receptivity! Practice receiving at that infant pleasure level next time someone praises you.

  1. Allowing unconditional love involves trust. If you feel there is no one whom you can trust, go to nature. Beam in the spectacle of night sky, or a vibrant-with-life tree, or a serenading bird or the breathtaking colours of sunrise and sunset. Allow yourself to receive natural beauty as mirror reflection of you.

  1. Say Yes when your Soul nudges you to say Yes. You will know when a No is appropriate, however, consciously stretch to Yes when No feels false or habitual. This Amazon page lists books related to saying yes.

  1. Using a mirror, look yourself in the eye and applaud yourself!  This practice, from Spring Forest Qigong,  opens the heart meridian. Do try this and note how it feels!

  1. Consider that you may be adept at opening to receive and that the challenge is Opening to Be Received.

During eons of life in 3rd Dimension, many of us had to hide. Intuitives, healers, wise women and men, we could not openly show who we are.  We can be who we are now and opening to be received might represent a new chapter in living the truth that we are part of and do belong. Your gifts, talents, wisdom are a crucial part of our collective unfolding into 5D.

If opening to be received is part of your challenge, start small and stay consistent with sharing who you are and what is yours to give. Trust that the opening to fulfillment is yours and receive it. Pay attention to how your sensate body guides and directs you. Open to receive that inner wisdom, and you will find your way to opening to be received.

Blessing wishes for all giving and receiving

The Death of Duality

Duality is dying. It might not seem so as we witness the divisiveness within first nation politics. Yet, duality, with its sense of separation, is dissolving. The Resistance Movement, whether we are activists or not, unites us and helps lift the veil of delusion. We are no longer fooled into accepting that we are separate beings. That fiction is no longer fact.

Through the global resistance movement, we embody the experience of Oneness and live interconnectedness. While the transition from duality into Oneness is not pretty, it is authentic. This same shift from duality into harmonic wholeness is true within our personal experience, as well.

We are no longer separate mind and body, we are bodymind. And notice which comes first in that word! The divisive split of spirit from matter, mind from body, consciousness from soul, human from nature, animal from human, has dissolved for many and is dissolving for many others. We are freer, now, to live an intuitive life, a life that is directed by an inner knowing of interconnectedness with all that is. Living an Intuitive Life means that we feel our truth, own it, and live it.

Living the Intuitive Life is the tagline for my blog because this is core to my beingness, my purpose on Earth. Ignoring intuition, this living channel of Field support, feels like a mortal wound and it seems to take a lifetime, or more, to keep this channel open.

A story in point: The other day I had errands that would have taken me to five different neighborhoods.  I could not possibly make all those trips in one afternoon. As I was deliberating a choice, my intuition slid in with the question, “What would it be like to live intuitively?”  Yes, this is the question my intuition, an information source I have actively been connecting with for decades, had to come and gently ask.

A memory of example also slipped into consciousness. A friend needed a new tablecloth for a special event. Rather than go here, there and everywhere in search of THE tablecloth, she asked her intuition. It responded, she listened and on one trip she found the tablecloth she wanted.

When we release mental rigidity, and the pushing, forcing, and insisting that comes with it, and we open, instead, to a soft flow of surrender within a Field that wants to inform us, life becomes effortless. Some moments are bumpier than others, however, if we relax into All is Well, we can trust the gift and the growth of a challenging experience, We can relax, allow, and receive.

This surrender to an informing Field is not self-abandonment.  It is an embodiment of consciousness that fuses body, mind, sensate experience, Soul and the living, informing Field, into Presence. Through this knowing presence, we are longer duped and disturbed by a cognitive dissonance that comes from not living our own wisdom and Oneness, our own intuition.

How does it feel to have the split between mind and body lessen in your daily life? How does it feel to trust your intuition more fully? Are you practicing on smaller, every day choices, such as holding an orange while grocery shopping, and asking “Does this have life for me?”  This is how we start living an intuitive life; we start small, in everyday matters, and we build from there.

One way to build relationship with intuition is to put one hand on the middle of your chest and the other hand on your lower abdomen; enjoy deep exhalations, relax, trust that Life is a Yes and that you are shapeshifting through challenges, then ask your intuition what you long to know.

Having to Function During a Personal Dark Moon

Aha! moments are sacred, special and bring meaning to our lives. I recently had an Aha! awareness that time is like a second skin we can slip into. This works when it is our rhythm that is slipped into time, rather than time, as an external force, being  superimposed upon us.

Science tells us that time does not exist. Yet, we seem to have universally agreed upon something we call “time”. We show up for work on time, we meet at the movies on time, we pay our taxes on time.

My life and my work are about Natural Time, Body as Timer, living in sync with rhythms of nature as experienced viscerally. A major piece of my work is the Personal Lunar Cycle, a pattern of energy that is based on the phase of the Moon in which we are born. There is a Dark Moon to this Personal Cycle, just as there is a Dark Moon in the Collective Cycle. This Dark Moon represents a naturally occurring low energy time. It is low energy because we are ending a cycle, emptying out in order to begin again with the New Moon.

I choose to live with this cycle each lunar month, and have done so for over twenty years. As I wrote last October, the Dark Moon in both Personal or Collective cycle is a pull to stillness. It is a highly intuitive time and the benefits of stopping to listen are great.

That is not always possible, however, as I wrote in that October blog post. The need to produce happened again in my most recent Personal Dark Moon cycle. I knew to pace myself and to choose as great a version of self-care as possible. I was in bearing witness mode as I showed up, was present to responsibilities and produced.

A Dark Moon period can affect a time span of 2-4 days. I knew what was coming and limited other obligations, focusing only on what was necessary. The 24 hours before my Personal New Moon, I surprised myself with the experience of full functioning. I did not feel compromised in any way, energetically.

The day of my Personal New Moon, though, I did feel the strong pull to gravity, the strong wish to tune everything out other than quiet stillness. I did show up and function adequately that Personal New Moon Day, however, that evening, I crashed. I took to the bed as soon as I could and simply rested. The next day I did have 100% time freedom and rested fully and completely.

The Aha! waking thought that Personal New Moon day was a direct experience of my body slipping into Time and allowing internal and external rhythms to sync. Rhythm is everything in nature. Finding the vibratory rhythm between our internal experience and our external circumstance means that we take our time and sync with the moment, consciously.

My work, feeling the Body as Timer, is a lifelong journey to embody nature’s cycles within the human experience. This work comes from the direct experience that we are sovereign beings. While we might have to function in relation to an external demand, we can do it with an internal sense of personal choice and in alignment with all that is, including the pace of  our body, mind and Soul.

Slow down, you move too fast,” was a phrase from a popular song during my teens. My Mother used to remind me of that, when I was a young girl trying to find my way. My other Mother, our Moon, has always been beaming that to me, to feel Time as my own, and move accordingly.

How about you? How do you feel Time as an inner experience?  Please share in the comments section below.

Hang on to Patience: The Coming Mercury Retrograde Period Feels Like a Doozy!

Another Mercury Retrograde period approaches and the one coming feels like a doozy.  As I have written before, Mercury Retrograde occurs three times a year with an approximate three week retrograde period, and a shadow and post retrograde period of varying lengths.  The dates for our next Mercury Retrograde period are:

Shadow period starts March 26, ends April 8

Retrograde period starts April 9, ends May 3

Post Retrograde period stars May 4, ends May 21

In astrology, Mercury governs communication and all things mechanical and technical.  In our current world, that is a lot of territory!

In both direct and reported experiences, these recent glitches suggest that the Mercury retrograde period has already started:

Google shared calendar app that was working, stops working

An institution’s internet connection is sporadic for an entire day, unable to sustain service for longer than a few minutes at a time. Little to no online work can be done.

A doctor’s office confirms an appointment that was not ever made for a condition not experienced.  Wrong patient? Miscommunication of test results?

These experiences are typical of what happens during Mercury retrograde periods. The snafus cause frustrations with accompanying effects, like increased stress, high blood pressure, sugar cravings, insomnia, anger and depression.

Knowledge is power. When we know that a pattern of celestial play in the sky reflects experiences here on Earth, it helps to take earthly frustrations and stalemates in stride.

If frustrations associated with this Mercury Retrograde period come your way, here are suggestions for coping:

Accept your present moment

Breathe.  Putting right hand in the middle of the chest and left hand two fingers below navel, with pressure as light as a feather, helps calm and center rather quickly.

Once calm, immerse yourself in the experience of No Time.  Concurrent with that is the deep, inner knowing that All is Well.

From this place of direct experience of peace within presence, identify your options and summon your resources.

Release blame, shame, and frustration. Things happen, we are not working alone in this life, we have unseen helpers, always. As human beings, we have only part of the story.  Trust, flow, let go, receive the silver lining when it arrives.

Quicksilver is liquid Mercury. The silver lining comes when we meet frustrating experiences with grace, patience and humor. Higher vibrational consciousness comes through appreciation of your resourcefulness, willingness to let go of absolutes, and trusting Life.

We might have to wait for it, however, Mercury retrograde does deliver!

The Eclipses Are Coming

For the many decades that I worked as a professional astrologer, I knew eclipses to be potent portal openings for change and fulfillment. They seem to take us higher. Lunar and Solar eclipses occur at least twice a year and their effects last six months, until the next set of eclipses occur.

In a Lunar Eclipse, Earth passes between Sun and Moon, and Earth’s shadow blocks Moon Light. In a Solar Eclipse, the Moon travels between the Earth and Sun, and the Moon’s shadow blocks the Sun’s Light.

Taking a fresh look at the meaning of eclipses, a recent meditation revealed eclipses as a fusion of Sun, Moon and Earth. In both a Solar and a Lunar eclipse, there is a trinity alignment of exquisitely timed perfection. This exquisite alignment is like an impregnation of Sun/Moon/Earth breathing together.

That this happens at least four times a year and with predictive regularity, and has been happening for thousands of years, is astounding to rational mind. This ritual patterning speaks of great portals of becoming for human beings.

I encourage you to take a  journey with your Self, your Soul, the Sun, Earth and Moon and ask in your own words, what is the meaning of eclipses, for you.

This week’s Lunar Eclipse occurs on Friday, February 10, at 7:34 PM Eastern time on the axis of Leo Moon and Aquarius Sun. The Solar Eclipse occurs on Sunday, February 26 at 9:59 AM, with a Pisces Sun, Pisces Moon.

The celestial region where these eclipses occur speaks of the union of a stellar human taking center stage in her life, and, from there, finding expressive harmony as a humanitarian being. From this fusion of experience comes the awakening of the direct, visceral Knowing of Oneness.

Something popped up in the collective experience recently and it speaks to a belly-laugh interpretation of the celestial story of the February 2017 eclipses: individuals, in this case, countries, take center stage while coming together as a cohesive, collective whole. Creatives, writers, performers, producers, of late-night talk shows of countries from around the world, have joined together in creating and sharing parodies of their respective countries’ response to the recent United States inauguration speech of “America First.”

From a Fifth-Dimension perspective, we have long ago crossed the Field into Global Consciousness, so one country being first is of a by-gone era; this positioning is no longer sustainable. We are on this Earth, together, as One. The global late night talk show parodies can be seen on this page.  Over the next six months, as the energies of the February eclipses radiate out, and more countries of our Earth Family activate their flag and present their own parody, it will be interesting to see a world united in resistance, through the strength expression of soft humour.

Resistance united as Global People Coming Together, is one expression of the 2017 Eclipse series.  There will be other collective and personal expressions unfolding within this 2017 eclipse series, as well. Make wishes, listen closely to the Heart, ride the wave of finding your center stage and claiming it, then sharing yourself in the Collective Field. This sharing can be as big or as quiet as your Soul directs, specifically for you. It is of value though, to listen, and ask for assist of your Soul if you feel called to go outside your comfort zone. From the place of claiming your stage, then expressing yourself, comes the direct, visceral, the know it in your blood and bones experience that We are One.

This is one facet of what is on offer in the February 2017 eclipse season. Please share your experiences in the comments section, or email me in the months ahead as eclipse energies of this sacred trinity, Sun/Moon/Earth play out their dance of fusion, opening us to higher frequencies of Love and Oneness.

How Do You Feel When You Have a Synchronous Event?

fractal-1147253_1280

Lately, I have had amazing experiences of synchronicity. It is not so much what happened, rather, how I felt when the synchronous experiences occurred. The visceral experience is one of feeling connected and cared for; alive within an active feedback loop with the Universe.

We go through life conscious of our wishes, wants, desires, longings. We express them through spoken or written word, through feelings and visualizations. We express them through prayer, ritual and action.

Synchronicity involves a connective experience of inner longing with outer manifestation. With synchronicity, a version of our longing shows up in materialized form and in Divine timing. Many readers of this blog know Time as an inner experience. Our ancestors knew and lived this, too. Synchronous experiences, major and minor, are experiences of majical, alive or Divine Timing. This kind of timing reveals the recognition of Self and Universe as connected. Staying receptive to synchronicity is really living in a time-free zone – anything can happen, at anytime, so we stay open to the experience that All is Possible.

It can take a shift in consciousness to receive synchronous events. For the past 2000 years, at least, we have been conditioned to exert effort.  In this New Time of the 5th Dimension, of which increased synchronicity is a part, effort is replaced by presence.

Since  writing the blog post on stopping thinking, I have been noticing when my thoughts go to future.  As soon as I notice this, I bring awareness back to the present. It seems this practice might have something to do with the increase in synchronous events I have been receiving lately.

Synchronicity is also connected with intuition because one has to know, and choose, when and where to place one’s self in order to align with the synchronous event.

Releasing attachment to outcome also helps increase the experience of synchronicity. Acceptance is much easier when we receive what is offered without judging it. “This or something better” we ask, and the Universe delivers.

Aureal Williams

One major change in the shift to 5th Dimension Consciousness is the direct experience that we are not alone.  We are in a collaborative, co-creative experience with the morphic Field of all and within a living, loving, responsive Universe.

We are no longer isolated, cut off lone wolves. We are communal, part of, we belong. This is a major shift, especially, for those of us in the United States, as our country was founded on a frontier experience of survival and independence. We are Global now, and Cosmically interactive. We always were; now we have more awareness of it.

Synchronicity is important. It is part of the new 5th Dimension experience, it is part of living in the present moment, it is part of intuition, wise listening, and it is part of belonging.

Deepak Chopra writes about synchronicity this way:

According to Vedanta, there are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness. The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don’t bother you anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life, more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where you actually experience the miraculous. (quoted by Carol Lynn Pearson in Consider the Butterfly)” Deepak Chopra, Synchrodestiny: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence to Create Miracles

Here’s to synchronicity.  May your life be filled with it! Please share in the comments how it feels when you receive synchronous experiences.

It is Time to Choose

network-1433043_1280

We are at a critical point in the shared story of our lives.  The election has happened, and like Brexit in England, many were shocked by the results of the American process.

What has happened since then is that people are gathering together in committed ways. This is a time, like other pivotal times in history, when empowered people come together, collectively.

One example of this is the Women’s March scheduled for the day after the inauguration. In support of protected rights for all, women are marching in Washington, D C, and other cities throughout the United States, in a grassroots movement of solidarity, advocacy and resistance.

That is one path to action. There are other paths, as well.

On November 8, 2016, a day after the US election, Kara Schallock, a wise woman whose work I respect, admire and follow, posted this on her Face Book page, Ascension: The New:

“Where are you still playing in duality? It takes deeply looking at yourself, your thoughts and actions to see. For instance, if you vote, you are playing in duality. If you judge yourself or another or a group, you are playing in duality. When you play in duality, you keep it strong; you delay Unity Consciousness.

The Truth of you is Love; there is no duality in Love. Yes, we are all in different phases of consciousness and as we become more aware, we see where we play in the much alive game of duality; of separation; and where we refuse to play and choose Love instead. Duality is all around us, so it’s quite easy to get sucked into what “everyone” else is doing. It takes Courage to stand in your Truth…who you say you are. You may be ostracized, ridiculed and pushed away. Yet, Ascension calls for us to stand in our Truth bravely. Ascension certainly isn’t about being a follower or being popular.

If you complain about a system, you add to the duality. Let us be more and let us be strong and courageous and willing to move just a bit higher than where we are right now.”

And then the other day, on my Facebook feed, came this informative article by Danielle Egnew, a psychic whose work is new to me. In the article, Danielle Egnew shares why she is not talking about the President-Elect.

Both women appear to be choosing the path of maintaining a vibrational frequency that resonates above the Third-Dimension story now.

pensive-female-580611_1280

Which is yours to do now? Is yours a role of activism, speaking out, standing together, becoming politically active through spreading the word to others, making calls to elected officials, organizing? Is your role now one of vibrating with a frequency that resonates above the 3D story? Perhaps your role is a combination of the two or something else altogether? Please share in the comments section, below.

In this quantum consciousness shift to the New Field, one world is dying and needs hospice care and the new world is birthing and needs midwifery care. Which is your path now? We are each called on, as human beings central to this quantum shift in consciousness, to stake and claim our own path at this critical time.  Everyone’s  path is unique and there are evolutionary stretches involved with each path.

Those who are activists, helping the old way dissolve, must accommodate family, work and personal time to march and walk with others, to raise their voices in harmonic frequency with hundreds of thousands of other women.

Those who are helping birth the New are focusing on the higher frequency vibrations and must go deep in following an inner truth that might also be a lonely path now.

There is no one right way; every way is valid if it is your truth.

Intuition informs you of your path. Ask, listen, and request support.  Please say yes. NOW is the time to Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning.

What do you do when your only viable recourse is to stop thinking?

winter-20248-winter

The other day I was forced out of thinking. I have written before about being too tired to think, however, on this recent day, external pressures mounted and my only viable recourse was to stop thinking.

Cessation of thought sinks us into present moment. As I prepared to embrace the day, I was aware of no thought and of centering through the Central Channel, that core column within that pulls up from the Earth, through the center of the body, out through the crown and into the infinite sky.  I was aware of being surrounded by a protective energy field, as if I was inside a shield of protection, a Merkabah.

I was acutely aware of being companioned by Present Moment on my right and Intuition on my left, sustained through my core and surrounded by the 10 directions, above, below, all around and within. I was ready, willing and free to breathe the unknown.

meditation-1384758_1280-merkerba-like

We have repeatedly heard the words, “We are Not Alone, We are One, We are Part of, We Belong.” Living this knowing is the New Now and thought restricts direct experience of this harmonic wholeness. Thought takes us out of present moment and into past or future. Past and future do not pulsate with Life, Now does.

In 5th Dimension consciousness, we weave through life as aware, resourced beings with spontaneous access to information. We meet each fresh moment and know what to do by breathing in the Now.

We are well-served to support ourselves in the New Now with practices of quiet, silence, meditation, reflection, journaling and creating. The action of creating builds the experience of confidence in not knowing. How many times have you created something and were surprised and astonished at what came into form? We’ve got this!

We are also well served by proper nutrition, adequate sleep, time in Nature, declining to overwork, and intimate and community relationships with humans and animals whom we love and trust.

We are especially well-served by movement, exercise or walks in nature and, particularly, ancient movement practices that have thousands of years’ experience working with energy flow – practices like qi gong, tai chi, yoga, sacred dance.

We have the chance, now, to replace thinking through and processing every encounter, every day, every obstacle, with a repertoire of self-care options that source us intuitively. These self-care options are called practices, because as we do them every day, we gain depth experience in inner wisdom. Inner wisdom is our main go-to in this time of not-knowing. Inner wisdom is the solid gold of self-love.

These practices of supreme self-care – movement, creativity, nature, nutrition, sleep, intimacy and community – build resilience that radiates through us and opens access to multidimensional consciousness. Life opens to us as we open to Life. This is 5D living, Now.

For me, after letting go of thought, the sensate awareness was Intuition on the left, Core centered, Present Moment on the right.  What is your experience? Please share in the comments section, below.
