Drum roll: Void of Course Moon Club

Have you ever wanted to harness the ups and downs of your energy cycles as they relate to productivity? The Void of Course Moon Club meets this need. For a nominal fee of $7 US dollars a month, you get Void of Course Moon (VOC) times for one of the following time zones, Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, London, UK. These VOC times are delivered by email with each New Moon of your subscription for lunar the month ahead. A narrative story about working with the Void of Course Moon is included in this monthly email, along with the call in information for a monthly conference call to discuss planning and scheduling with the Void of Course Moon times.

Who Benefits from Joining

Joining this Club benefits those who struggle with time management, those who experience stress from busyness or overwork to the detriment of well-being. Crafters and makers, all manner of self-employed entrepreneurs, can find benefit in this Void of Course information. Anyone who is employed and feels the pressures of producing against all odds may also find benefit in learning about and working with Void of Course Moon times.
The reason this club has benefit for such a wide spectrum of folk is because living in sync with Void of Course Moon times is one of the best techniques for experiencing time as a fluid, inner experience. Working with Void Moon helps open the experience of body as timer and provides vivid contrast for the constrained experience of time as an external controller outside of direct, physical experience.

Why Now?

Since the conditioning of mechanical time (produce at all costs, no matter how the body feels) runs deep within our culture, it can take years to feel and appreciate the value of flowing with the Moon, our natural Timer. In other words, opening the door to this club does not mean that aligning with natural cycles is an easy experience. Joining this club will be a learning experience and can be a fun experience.

Void of course Moon times can best be explained by sacred geometry, which is everywhere in our lives. The next time you are at a meeting or a social gathering, look to see who is directly opposite you. These sitting or standing configurations speak to the energetic alignments among those present. For example, the person 180 degrees apart from you is most likely to be someone who supports you totally or someone with whom an “opposition” exists. You can also look to those sitting at 45 degree angles from you; there is likely to be some friction in these relationships, some dynamic to work through to come to a fuller, more mutually appreciative understanding.

“As above, so below.” These words suggest that what is happening here on Earth is reflected in the skies above. Sacred geometry also shows up in the ever moving planets and stars in the sky. A Void of Course Moon occurs when the Moon is not making any aspect of geometric shape with the planets. The technical definition goes deeper than this, however, for our purposes here, keeping it to basics helps with the very real challenge of changing our relationship with time, moving past centuries of conditioning and opening to the direct, visceral experience of time as a living flow.

The great scientist Buckminster Fuller taught that energy is contained in form. With a Void of Course Moon there is no geometric form to contain the energy. The physical experience can be felt as void, like energy flowing through a sieve, into the void.

This is why there is a business advantage to knowing about these times and using them for planning and scheduling and this Club helps with that. During a Void of Course Moon it can be challenging to stay focused. If we keep pushing forward during a Void Moon time, we might experience losses, uphill battles, and often, the need to apply extra effort or redo things. Working smarter, not harder definitely applies to those who follow Void of Course Moon times.
The Void Moon occurs every two and one half days for varying amounts, from minutes to more than 24 hours. These are optimal times for rest and reflection, for releasing and receiving information from the invisible planes. They are times to allow rest for our bodies, minds and Souls. Rest is an integral component of the productivity cycle and nature is a great teacher.

Bonus Benefit!

Aligning with the void Moon times for planning and scheduling also provides a blueprint for present moment living based on the wisdom of Body as Timer. These skills are key now, as we transition to the New Life/New Time of 5th Dimension living.

It is a tumultuous time as we make this transition. Come join this Club and learn how to align with the flow of the Moon. The inner alignment is already there, as the body feels these rhythms on subtle levels. Tt is now time to bring this subtle body awareness into consciousness and support ourselves more fully with human/nature integration. Come, join the Club!

The Auspicious Time of August 13-14

I write to share information about the auspiciousness of August 13 and 14 2012. On these dates the Sun is in Leo and the Moon is in Cancer, the home bases of our two primary Lights.  This information comes from Isabel Hickey’s work, long since deceased.  This placement represents a natural resonance of the Sun and the Moon and the opportunity for us is to go to the wishing well and reach deep.

I welcome news of your experiences these days, please post in the comments section below or contact me directly.

The Pull to Rest, Continued….

Juan Tamad

Agustin Rafael Reyes via Compfight

During the most recent Dark Moon (three full 24 hour periods before each New Moon) I started to write a post about resting in the Dark of the Moon and the post went missing! The post was there and then it was not there.  I accepted this happening as a cosmic intervention, a loud and clear reminder that it was time to rest, not write.

When I was living in Ashland, Oregan at the turn of the century, I heard Barry Brailsford speak to a group of people. He is an indigenous wisdom man, carrying the traditions of many ancient cultures.  That particular evening, Barry talked about not starting a writing project, or any project (Facebook take note!), near the end of the Lunar Cycle.  Barry said that it just made sense, and we only need to look at the sky, or feel within, to know this. As he said this, a friend in the audience looked at me and we both nodded, as she recognized that this was information I consistently shared in my work with Natural Time.

I know the tradition of syncing human activities with the Moon’s phases is something indigenous peoples do and have done forever and while I carry this tradition myself, deep within me, it was good to hear Barry say this in contemporary time. I have often felt like Cassandra sharing this information.

For me, the information came first through a study of astrology and then through direct experience of my body’s rhythms, the momentum to move forward, or to be still, in relation to the ebbs and flows of our Moon.

What I don’t get is how rare this seems to be to people, to coordinate how they feel and want to move or not want to move in relation to the Moon’s phase in the sky above.  To me, it is like a giant cosmic permission slip to follow one’s own rhythms in accordance with nature. It takes a lot to do that, I know, and you can read through earlier posts, and future posts, to learn about my struggles with this allowing.

In this most recent Dark Moon, I started to write about resting and the cosmos invited me to walk my talk. I accepted that invite and did rest as much as I could. For instance, not writing a voluntary blog post. There was something, though, that I had to do during this Dark Moon time and that was to show up for a part-time employment gig. Prior to the last few months, I had  the divine, supreme luxury of calling my own schedule. Now, I have a part-time gig where there is not as much leeway in my schedule as there was before. For the first time in about ten years, I had to show up for a job during the Dark Moon phase on Monday and Tuesday of this past week.

Monday went well, I didn’t have to do much, and  I rested Monday evening.  I did not sleep well during the night, as is often the circumstance right before a New Moon. Energy is stirring to begin anew.  The New Moon occurred on Tuesday morning at 11:02 AM EDT and I found it very difficult to work that day.  I was tired, out of sorts, and about 2 in the afternoon wondered to myself if I would make it through the rest of the day.

I did make it through the day and came right home, no stopping.  I crashed into rest that evening and being a self-indulgent sort, I rested the entire next day.  I knew from the feeling within my body that I had to come back to center, to reset to zero for the start of the new lunar cycle.  It was also the start of a new solar cycle, so the rest was deep and replenishing. I had the day to myself, a luxury, I know, and I read a mystery, stayed reclining most of the day, moved slowly, peacefully.

I woke this morning with a resurgence, a renewed energy field, fresh for the start of this new lunar cycle and this new season, Summer!, and with vitalized energy for my own work. New ideas, new enthusiasm, fresh perspective.

Not everyone can stop what they are doing and rest as the Moon floats from the end of one cycle to the beginning of the next. I know this and I will now, occasionally, fall into this category, too. However, if you struggle with depression, or irritability or frustration with your circumstances, I encourage you to consider realigning choices regarding energy exertion and the Moon’s movement. There are two cycles to consider, the Collective Lunar Cycle and your Personal Lunar Cycle. For simplicity’s sake, consider starting the alignment with the Collective Lunar Cycle. After you feel a resonance with that cycle, consider moving on to alignment with the Personal Lunar Cycle.

Things to consider for alignment with the Collective Cycle are to prepare for the naturally occurring low energy time during the Dark Moons, again, those are three days before each New Moon. You can find the date and time of the New Moons are on most calendars. During the Dark Moon times, consider having groceries on hand so you don’t have to stop at the supermarket on the way home from work. Pull out something from the freezer in the morning, so it is ready to go for dinner, instead of having to exert energy cooking. You might be too tired to enjoy what you cook during that Dark Moon time!  Have arrangements with family members for quiet time those evenings and limit external commitments as you can.  Most of all though, notice the longing in your body for rest, and allow time and space for it.  Planning ahead helps, whether it is with meals or housecleaning or activities for children or yourself. Queue up that book on your tablet, have something ready to go that relaxes.

Indigenous peoples have followed the lunar rhythms since the beginning of time. These cultures are not prominent any longer, however their wisdom still works. The cultures that have been prominent recently have attempted to use dominion over Nature to stay in power.  Their grip is loosening. The Shift  (paradigm/age/new dimension/new field) that we are in presents an opening to again connect live with Nature and reach for synchronicity, alignment and comfort from one ever-changing constant in life, our Moon.

I Have More Space

Did you ever have one of those experiences where you thought you were making a good choice and it really was a poor choice and because of the poor choice you felt like you needed to wash inside and out for about a day and half?  I just had one of those remarkable learning experiences.

It was my day off and I went to the movies.  The movie was okay, however, it left me feeling a little flat, like, “So what?” After that, I was feeling hungry and there are not too many restaurants I can enjoy because I eat naturally and/or organic and I cannot stand sugar in my food. Those parameters leave me with limited choices for dining out.

There is a relatively new restaurant in my town that I had been wanting to try and I thought, ‘Why not today?”  First, I went about looking for it without an address. I knew the street it was on, so I traveled that street one end to the next, without finding the place.  At the end of the street, while turning around in a driveway, I pulled out my  phone and got the street number.  I found the place, parked and went in.

Here is where I made my first poor choice.  I did not like the vibe as I entered the place and I ignored this awareness. I did not like the set up, physically, and I did not appreciate the vibe of the people.  It was all about the food for me — this was advertised as “good” food, so I kept my focus narrowed and limited and ignored the bigger picture of what I sensed around me.

I went ahead and ordered.  I needed a simple substitution of yeast-free bread, which this restaurant had, however, not with the sandwich that I ordered.  The waiter was not open to that substitution, so I ordered something other than what I really wanted.  Then, the place had multiple TVs turned on.  I like TV, not in restaurants though, and the electromagnetic experience of the TVs was extremely upsetting to my nervous system.  The food was edible, not great. How could the food possibly be good for me if the vibe of the place wasn’t resonant?

I left in an upset state and with much regret.  I felt dirty, inside and out, violated and it was from my own ignorance.  It took me a day and a half to shake the experience and to calm down back to center. In reflection, what I learned is that I need to expand my awareness into the space around me.  I have to have a multidimensional view, not the narrow view of single-minded focus, in this case, lunch.  There was a natural foods store nearby, I could have gone there for something to eat.  It wouldn’t have offered a dining in experience, however, it would have been a wiser choice for me.

Stubbornness, obstinacy, insistence, these all got in my way that day. What I learned from this painful experience is that I can include an experience of the space above my head, it is a source of informing in chakras systems and I can also include the space around my physical body in my choice making.  In many healing systems that space around our bodies is the aura and that also holds sources of information for us.  This painful, constricting experience was a teaching moment for me to use the space around and above me, and I am going to include under me to, because as above, so below.  If there is an informing space above, there is also an informing space below my feet, too, that I can access for information.  What I learned from this experience is that intuition not only comes from an inner body awareness. I learned that I have informing space around my whole body that also assists me to choose wisely, from informed knowing. I want, and need, to breathe through all this space as I walk through this amazing, choice-filled life.
