Starting Now: The Most Productive Week of the Lunar Cycle

by | Jul 6, 2022 | 5D, Our Moon

Second Quarter Moon, July 6, 10:14 PM to Full Moon, July 13, 2022, 2:38 PM EDT

The Second Quarter of any lunar cycle is the most dynamic for getting things done. That is because we have had one week of a restart, and in this second week, we buildup to the Full Moon boom. From there, we empty again, clearing the field for the next new cycle.

If you still live by the paradigm, Time is Money, following the ebb and flow of the Moon’s recurring rhythm might not resonate with you. If you live by the new paradigm, Time is Art, aligning with the ebb and flow of our Moon’s rhythm does make sense. You understand that the building and receding light our Moon reflects is there to guide us.

Taking this innate rhythmic pattern down to the next lower common denominator, we find the in-and out-breath. We know that focusing on simple in and out breathing stabilizes us in times of stress. So, too, the Moon. If we genuinely want to get things done in powerful and effective ways, we might note which phase the Moon is in and apply our actions accordingly.

Despite the hard focus on action, this specific Second Quarter week is a social one. That is because the moment the Moon becomes Second Quarter, July 6, 10:14 PM EDT, the Sun is in Cancer, and the Moon is in Libra. Cancer and Libra are social signs; Cancer wants to nurture, and Libra wants beauty and harmony.

With this configuration, the challenge is to stick up for oneself, to know and be clear about boundaries so that you are:

Not smothered

Not coaxed into getting along for the sake of false harmony

In the Second Quarter, the push is external, so we are pushing up against controlling attempts from others. The opportunity is to stand clear about who you are and what you want without unnecessary comprise. Permit the friction to propel you to own what you want and take clear, undistracted, power-infused steps toward that vision. The Moon is with you!

If we genuinely want to get things done in powerful and effective ways, we might note which phase the Moon is in and apply our actions accordingly.

5D Here, Now

The theme of this second week is about owning what we want, despite what those close to us might want for themselves or us. Discernment and choice are critical tools for this week.

Relationship dynamics are challenging, and it might be time to consider options if true equity cannot be delineated. Many relationships are dissolving as we raise our consciousness to the 5th Dimension. What used to be a match may start to feel mismatched.

Dissolution might appear in an intimate relationship, a job, a group, or an activity we used to enjoy and no longer find pleasurable. You might be one of the (lucky) ones who find every component of life shape-shifting around you.

We cannot, though, distance ourselves from responsibility to children. What you can do is get clear on your wants, needs, and boundaries. Identify what feels like respect and age-appropriate mutuality and put it out there. Keep coming back to your core needs; try to stop accommodating to the point of distress. Kids need clarity of boundaries, and so do you.

How-To

If you find yourself getting along to keep the peace, consider that such an outcome does not radiate peace. 5D reflects that we are worthy, that want we want and need is legitimate. If you are stuck in a grooved relationship pattern that is not working, raising the vibrational frequency within that relationship can make a difference in health and happiness for all.

You might think, feel, or experience that it is better to cave than to have deep discussions on boundaries. You might feel that you have no other options except to tolerate intolerable circumstances. If that is your experience, consider that you are operating out of your head and not your heart. A dose of self-compassion goes a long way.

When we drop questions about our challenges down into our hearts, we open a field of resources that our minds cannot fathom. If we hold what we want in our hearts, say it out loud, and envision having it, the energetics can shift positively.

Relationships with partners, work, and the community seems easier to shape-shift than relationships with children. Parental roles as protector, teacher, and guide are long-lasting and not on a genuinely equal level. When parenting infants, toddlers, or children with physical or mental challenges, finding balance in life might be delayed. If that is the case, may you find sustaining grace, support, blessings, humor, and beauty that help you thrive within those circumstances.

Children born since 2000 are of this new age. They are our teachers in this higher dimensional consciousness. If you are in a parenting role,  please consider clarifying what you want, need, and what feels like respect to you and communicate that in age-appropriate ways to your children. Know your boundaries. Self-care, even minimal snippets of self-care, lies at the heart of well-being.

Your mind might tell you, “I cannot have what I need in this relationship.” Defining and stating your needs might scare you; however, if you take the time and space to define reasonable boundaries and communicate them calmly and with certainty, you might be surprised at the results.

5D calls for new configurations, and innovative dynamics are at play everywhere. With the children as our teachers, and if given a chance, based on age-appropriateness, they may step up to meet you and your clearly stated needs.

For those of us who track and focus on living 5D, the storyline of equality continues to evolve. This challenge is not over, despite what the outer circumstances might reflect. Allow your heart to gravitate to loving self-care within all of your relationships.

Void of Course Moon Times this Week

For the United States, Canada, and Europe, Thursday’s July 7 four-hour Void Moon occurs during the evening and overnight hours. Except for people working nighttime shifts, there is little disruption to output.

It is the same minimal disruption for Sunday’s July 10 four-hour Void Moon in the United States and Canada. Getting out of bed on Sunday morning might be a challenge for Europeans and with a slow start to the day.

Monday’s July 11 seven-hour Void Moon affects Europeans during the early morning hours on Tuesday, July 12. This Void Moon occurs overnight for the US and Canada.

The exact times, and a time converter link, are below. In summary, the Void Moons this week assist Americans and Canadians with expanded depth during the dream state and impact the productivity of Europeans with short void pulls on Sunday and Tuesday morning.

Void Moons: No form to contain the energy which feels free-floating and hard to focus. Heeding what your body wants during Void Moons — more internal focus, less external focus, and more stillness, quiet, and rest — are great ways to embody the Moon.

The Void Moon Times this week include:

Thursday, July 7, 9:04 PM to Friday, July 8, 1:15 AM EDT

Sunday, July 10, 12:34 AM to 4:34 AM EDT

Monday, July 11, 9:42 PM to Tuesday, July 12, 5:01 AM EDT
