Follow your Intuition: Spring Equinox Birthing

Following your intuition these past three months may have felt like a wild ride. Since the Great Shift that occurred with the Winter Solstice of 2012 we have been in transitional mode, similar to that of being in a birth canal.  Quickening, crowning and soon, Delivery!  The Spring Equinox, March 20 2013 is being heralded as birth time for our life in this new dimension of living light and love.

Intuitive awareness, or multidimensional knowing, has increased exponentially since the Shift of 2012 Solstice. Ways that this heightened awareness is showing up for me include:

Memory releases:  Experiences from the past bubble up spontaneously or as waking thoughts.  The memory flashes and I release.  The feeling experience is of  freedom, and it magnetizes me to Now.

Hard edge softening:  The need to know and the need to know now are supplanted by a gentle swaying of openness to infinite possibilities.  For this shift, I am using a technique I  learned years ago and had not used much since.  I use it now, with effectiveness. The technique is to ask myself before sleep and upon awakening, “How can I….” or “”Show me how to….” This soft questioning replaces a clear, stated intention of “I want….”or “I need….” with an understanding that wants and needs are met through co-active partnering between the living energy field and me. The one being questioned is the whole of one’s being, body, soul, spirit, minus rational mind!  Intuitive knowing is not accessible through the mind. Sorry! The field of questioning is the vast living energy field, where possibilities are infinite, beyond reach of the thinking mind.

Answers, directions, new pathways open with this kind of questioning.  A recent response to my questioning arrived as a waking thought.  A healer with whom I had worked four years ago came to my awareness. I had not thought, seen, heard of or from him in all of that time.  I trusted my inner guidance and took it as a sign in response to my questioning. I called him that day and am working with him again for  release of  murky shadow. Specifically, my — up till then — unconscious impulse of defendedness. This habituated, adaptive patterning was a learned response that I now choose to unlearn.  This patterning is not me, never was and I willingly, consciously release and re-pattern this pathway of defended response.  This is where mind can help — in recognizing the unconscious impulse patterning when it happens in real time. When the unconscious patterning is brought to consciousness then it can be released and the pathway re-patterned with other choices of response. Maybe humour, or taking a breath, or bringing up kindness — for self or other — from deep in the heart.

Living Now: That great master, Eckhart Tolle, helped get us ready for living Now with his classic book, The Power of Now. He offers many tools on his website, a lot of them free, for upping one’s vibrational frequency through life in the moment.  Living in Now represents real adventure. It is exhilarating, freeing and full of potency. Try it!

I have more optimism now than I can ever remember feeling.  There is more receptivity, more buoyancy. Life is lived at a new frequency. Colours are more vibrant, relationships are more authentic. I am freer. Past and future are relegated to the margins; living in the present is the only viable option now. Knowing and trusting intuition provides a compass for life in the Now.  How are following your intuition in this Spring Time?  Share in the comments section or through my contact me form how your life is opening in this New Field.

Many blessing wishes!

Detoxing Into Light

The Shift happened and it is great.  I went on a pilgrimage to Lake Superior in Duluth and the personal healing that happened and the treasures that were offered as gifts from The Lake are amazing, profound and quite effective for moving through next steps.

One of those next steps is a detox, a releasing of what no longer works in clearing the way for more presence in the moment.

While I was in Minnesota, I went to my favorite grocery store, Mississippi Market, on 7th Avenue in St. Paul and had a Lemon Pizazz.  I had heard of this drink before, yet had not had it or made it for myself.  It is the recipe of lemon water, ginger, cayenne pepper and honey. Mississippi Market’s version was fantastic and I have been making the drink almost daily for myself, at home.

Who knew that cayenne pepper was such an aid in detoxing — releasing what is no longer needed for the body.  I am not prescribing for anyone, only sharing that I am finding this drink to be a great way of self care and releasing. I am finding that cayenne pepper helps with circulation and releasing stuckness from the gastrointestinal track. This is certainly a feel good drink!

Since I have returned from 12.21.12 pilgrimage, I have also found The Alkaline Sisters and what a find they are! Waking up my need for a higher percentage of alkaline foods in my diet, for wellness, is a great adventure.  Through the years I have found that changing one’s diet changes one’s identity.  I am not finding that change in identity so much now as I rely on their alkaline food chart to make dietary choices.  Moving from acid foods to more alkaline foods does represent a major change for me, however I think it is because the new ways are here, the New Dimensional Living, is here and it is not so much a stretch to live who we are becoming now, it is easier.  Are you finding that, too?

The other aspect with this detox that I am experiencing at the beginning of 2013 is that memories are releasing from my consciousness as I detox my body.  I have done longer fasts before and  remember that memory release was the case then, too. It was more emotional then, more wrenching. Now though,  I wake in the morning with old  memories spilling out from consciousness, muscle memory, organ memory and psyche. I acknowledge those memory experiences and drop them like weight no longer needed.

As James Brown sings, I Feel Good…..

How about you, what is your releasing process as we take first steps into our New Life?

Personal Dark Moon, December 8 2012

As I have shared many times and in many places before, in 1993, through a kinesthetic body experience, I “recovered” (in contrast to discovered!) a pattern of energy that is based on the phase of the Moon in which one is born.  Since that time I have lived with this cycle, planned life around its optimization, teach the technique and use it with intuitive counseling clients.  It has always been a hard sell, as modern life has been far removed from living with the rhythms of the Moon. When I first started blogging, I wrote posts about my experiences with this cycle.  It has been awhile since I have shared in that way.  A recent upsurge in client requests for this work and my own experience in this particular dark moon personal cycle prompt me to write this post.

Everyone has their own phase of the Moon in which they are born, one half of the two half cycle (New Moon to Full, Full to Dark Moon), one phase out of the 28 phase cycle, one phase out of the four quarter phase cycle, one phase out of the Moon’s eight phase cycle. Your sun/moon phase angle is unique to you. My sun/moon phase angle is when the sun and the moon are at 290 degrees apart each lunation, toward the end of the lunar cycle. Those of us born in the last half of the cycle tend to need a fuller stop in our dark Moon phases than those born in the first half of the cycle.

My new moon in the personal cycle occurs at 2:46 AM December 8, 2012, less than 12 hours of my writing this post. The New Moon, in both the personal and collective cycle is like the reset button and the three days before the New Moon, especially the 24 hours before, is known as the Dark of the Moon.

Ordinarily during this dark moon time , I take to the bed, reading mysteries or simply resting.  I have done some of that this dark moon. I also find myself upright, writing and it feels good. Leading in to this dark moon phase of the cycle I have had two days of down time. I have had appointments, however, easy and with no external pressure.  So, I come into this phase more relaxed than I usually am in my personal dark moon time.  The one word that comes to describe this particular cycle is sweet.  There is a lot of ease surrounding me right now, perhaps that ease has always been there and I am simply noticing it more.

Manifestation is another energy that is showing up in this dark moon phase.  Some posts earlier, I wrote about wanting a colouring book that had images of toruses in it. I did found a colouring book and gifted myself with it as a holiday gift. It arrived and I am working with it, however, it takes a lot of time to colour a page in this book and that is not how I want to spend time right now.  Seeing the image of torus in this book sparked the memory of slinkys.  Yesterday, I went out in search of a slinky and found one.  Quick manifestation has been happening a lot lately and I love it.  Maybe direct manifestation experiences are taking some of the edge of life off, allowing for more trust and ease.  I am also making more connections with people through direct contact and social media.  Meaningful connections, seeing and being seen, always helps as a life support.

I have the slinky on my desk, it is a small one, quite transportable, and as I play with it and bring it into its own full circle, there is tangible, visual reminder of what my teacher, Michele Mayama suggests: that the shape of our chakras are shifting into the torodial shape. The movie Thrive sources energy in the universe as related to the torus shape.

With the dark Moon in the personal lunar cycle, there seems to be a homecoming of sorts; of information and experiences settling in as one cycle completes and the next cycle is about to begin. As the torus shape shows us, there is continual unfolding, circle upon circle.  In a torus, the edges are softer, rounder, folding over into one’s self for a distinct experience of completion  continued. That is what the moon’s cycles do, too.

New Clothes

somebody's clothes
The Great Shift of 2012 brings anticipated change: greater sense of community, greater sense of creativity, greater experience of confidence and trust, greater synchronization with Life, greater fun, more smiles, greater joy.  An unexpected change that the Great Shift is bringing to me is a need for new clothes. The old clothes have worn out, not in cloth, rather they have worn out in that they no longer represent the vibrational frequencies that I am becoming.  This need for new clothes is a surprise, and a part of the New Field shift that I did not anticipate.
The other day I was putting on a piece of my favorite clothing and I could barely stand to finish putting it on. The vibration of the piece no longer matched me and this awareness came all of a sudden. This piece of clothing is about three years old, has been a go-to piece, a favoured regular in my rotation of dressing.  I looked at other choices and those options did not resonate with me, either. Then, it dawned on me, that as I am changing, shedding old layers of adaptation and  shifting into a freeness of being, the old clothes no longer work for me.
Everything carries a vibration and clothes carry our vibration. If I am putting on a piece of clothing that did serve me well, however,  no longer holds resonance for who I am now, there is feeling of discordance.  Discordance on the outer level seeps into the inner level, zapping energy, spontaneity, creativity and happiness and joy. In all ways I say yes to supporting the revelatory essence of my possibility,  the expressively creative, artistic, fun, connected being that I am becoming. Wearing a different kind of clothing seems to be a next step in my self-supportive process.
I have not yet started to shop for my new wardrobe yet, however, I get the feeling that I am going to be looking for a change in style, not just new clothes.  Maybe I will even have to look in new shops, not the ones I usually use, to find the new clothes that are a resonant match for me.  I suspect I will be wearing new colours, too.
Buying new clothes does not, necessarily, have to cost a lot of money. Throughout my life, I have found that when the need is authentic, the resources are around. The point, really, is to wear clothing that supports me to be me.
Everything is shifting in this time of unprecedented change.  If you find that your clothes are no longer a resonant fit with whom you are becoming, listen. I trust, implicitly, that the majic in the universe and the majic of saying yes to your inner knowing will help you find the resources, the colours and the clothing that help you tidal wave into the new you. Intuition Takes Patience

While doing the laundry last evening, I received an intuitive hit to not start the dryer yet.  While I was hanging up  clothes that I air dry, I found a tee shirt that I could put in the dryer.  I went back to the dryer, added that tee to the clothes already there and pressed start. I was heartened that I listened, because even after decades of working with intuition, every experience of intuitive awareness represents an awakening, a cosmic heart kiss.

This example represents a little thing, yet that is how intuition works and how, by paying attention to these little things, we begin to recognize and trust our intuition so that we can work with it effectively for bigger life choices.

What was new in this experience was the awareness that intuition takes patience. Rather than getting on with starting the dryer so that I could move to the next task, I had to wait.  In the waiting I found that I missed one shirt that could have been added to the drying load.  A little twinge inside said wait, and I listened.

I saved time and energy by not starting and then having to stop and restart the dryer, and though it was only moments that I saved, it was a savings.  Saving resources, not wasting time, is one of the biggest advantages of living an intuitive life. Using intuition, I do not have to retrace my steps or redo things. I do have to listen, acknowledge and accept that being informed comes from body listening, not mind listening.

We are in challenging times now, with the end of the Mayan Calendar, about to begin a new mega cycle of Time. There is a great shift happening and this shift represents releasing and realigning of internal energy patterns. It is my feeling and experience that intuition leads the way as a means of navigating this great change.  We can no longer trust the mind to help us discern life’s call to make choices.  Intuition guides the way and while we all have intuitive knowing, it takes practice to identify our own intuitive language and patience to listen and develop trust in our guiding frequencies.

I encourage you to practice living your life intuitively. If you are looking at ways to help strengthen your practice and patience living life intuitively, there are a variety of choices in ways that we can work together.   Contact me to discuss the options, such as intuitive sessions,  Natural Time Alignment sessions or classes.
